Without actually having tested the load rating and durability in the field, I was impressed with the quality of the construction of these straps. The straps and stitching both appear to be substantial. The ratchet mechanisms are robust. The straps are easy to "thread" through the mechanism and once under tension, there is no perceivable slip. As I mentioned, what I can't yet comment on is the load capability compared to the claims, and how well these hold up to UV exposure and weather conditions in the lower great lakes region of the US. If you don't see any updates within six months of this original post, then you can assume that these have performed well since I expect these will see extensive usage during the next several months where they will be exposed to winter conditions and all that that entails (freeze/thaw - salt - etc.). I've paid nearly as much for one 20' version of these with smaller carabiners about 10 years ago through an industrial supply house that is known to be expensive. The price for 4 of these ($59.73 at the time of purchase) I found to be quite good, especially for the stainless mechanism and carabiners.

Top quality stainless steel 316 is no magnetic. Parts of the ratchet assembly are mildly magnetic. I would not use these in a saltwater environment without periodic rinsing and spraying with WD/Blaster. The ratchet are nicely made of same quality as good steel ratchet. Snap clips are good and non-magnetic. Price/quality/materials are a good blend, not 5* but good enough to take the time for this review.

Got sick of chasing tie downs that fall off bed anchors while I tighten the other side (jumping over to fix them jumping back, so carabiners FTW) These are Quality. Strap is twice as thick as competitors. Stamped Stainless steel is sharp. I dremeled the sharp edges on the thumb release. Haven’t tested the carabiner strength. I bought the strongest lightest carabiners I could find And will replace the ones that came with it. . I like knowing it won’t rust. I paid full price. I’ll change this review as I test them.
