Pizza perfected!
The best! I set a goal to perfect a thin and crispy pizza this summer. I took several classes in pizza making at King Arthur and tried a wide variety of recipes, made adjustments and keep a pizza notebook. This HexClad pan took my pizza to exactly where I wanted it, really beyond where I thought was possible. It’s the perfect size-14” pie- and because it doesn’t need to be preheated, I can stretch the dough directly on the pan. I chose to slightly oil the pan first, not because it needs it, because it helps crisp the crust. The pizza slides right off the sizzling pan directly onto a cooling rack. Initially, I hesitated because of the price, but it’s the best $129 purchase I’ve made in years! It can take high-high heat, and comes with a lifetime guarantee. It’s big but easily stored in my oven. Highly recommended. Frankly, I’m considering other HexClad items because of this experience. I perfected my thin and crispy pizza and had to set a new goal: thin and crispy biscotti. I am thinking of using this awesome pan for the second bake. Thank you HexClad.

Absolutely fabulous for baking pizza, etc.; do not use pizza cutter on this
At the current price of $149 plus tax, this is an expensive pizza steel. However, I did wait for the price to come down during prime day and was able to buy this for $89 plus tax, which came to $94.90 for me. This is still expensive but it is worth it to me. The steel is sturdy, large, and non-stick. I baked a couple of pizzas on this and the pizzas slid off like skates on an ice rink. This is not only for pizzas but can be used for calzones, flatbreads, etc. Note that I did not preheat the steel before using. Instead, I assembled the pizza on the steel and then baked it. I then moved the pizza to a cutting board for cutting so that I would not damage the steel. I am extremely ecstatic with this purchase. I have several other pizza pans, including another steel and a few pizza stones. This is by far the best, in my opinion.

excellent pizza pan, seemed to cook the pizza just fine and without sticking to the pan like my old pan did.

Love this product so much we now have two! Cooks pizza perfect & leaves crust crispy, heavy duty & easy clean up. The excels also has an amazing warranty program & will replace at no charge if becomes scratched
