I have a number of HexClad pans that I love. When I saw this pizza steel, I had to have it. Yes, it is expensive, but over time, the price will not be remembered, and the versatility and ease of cleaning makes it well worth the price. This pizza stone fits in my indoor oven as well as my outdoor pizza oven. Since it can be used with temperatures up to 900 degrees, it works well in my outdoor pizza oven that I generally don't use temperatures over 750 degrees and can be used for both homemade and frozen pizzas as well as for warming up leftover pizza in the oven. Whether used indoors or outdoors, for homemade, frozen, or leftover pizza, the crust always comes out evenly crispy. Since the surface is non-stick, cleanup is always a breeze, and requires nothing more than warm soapy water. In addition, using metal utensils will not scratch it. This pizza steel is large, 20" including the handles, and it is heavy, comparable to a cast iron piece of the same size. So, a place to store it may be a concern. If you have the space and don't mind the weight, this pizza steel can be used for so much more than pizza. It works great for making flatbread, pita bread, calzones, tortillas, and so much more. Uses are limited only by your imagination. I would definitely recommend the pizza steel. I hope this review was helpful for you.

I bought this HexClad pizza pan as a gift for my mom, and it’s been a hit! Whether it’s a frozen pizza or one we have customized at home, it cooks evenly and comes out perfectly, crispy crust, melted toppings, no sticking. It also cleans up easily, which makes post-dinner cleanup a breeze. It’s perfect for families who love to get creative with their own pizza dinners. Just note that it’s pretty large, so finding a good storage spot might take a little planning. Still, absolutely worth it for the quality and fun it adds to mealtime!

This is my most trusted kitchen brand period. If they make it, best in class. Looks like art, sears like a demon, cleans easy with no stick, bomb proof, seasoning takes 2-3 minutes because they heat so well. Most of their pans can tolerate up to 900F, that's absurd metal! Easy cooking - but do lower temps as they say. Value for this quality and lifetime work from their products is outstanding. Check out their grinders. I've never had something of their quality. How many brands can you go stove, oven, firepit, grill with no concerns? Hexclad doesn't care, it's bring it on I'm good for 900F. Then have easy clean, a work of art look, etc. I got some accessories from them too - mitts, trivets, drying mats, gifts (77yo Mom, used heavy cast iron and high cost other brands was amazed LOVED her skillets - she seasoned them cooked at the lower temps and cleaning - she just wiped it off under the sink). I seared with them - wow.

I recently found this brand and their cookware is nothing short of fantastic. It is extremely durable. You can use metal utensils and it won't even leave a mark. This pizza steel doesn't need to be preheated and can be used for anything you would put on a baking sheet. It is the last pizza steel you'll ever need.

So worth the price!!! Non-stick, no need to preheat the pan. Pizza comes out crispy and slides right off. If you like to make pizza, or if you want to save money and start making your own, this is the way to go.

Heavy duty, high quality, pizza has been great the few times I used it. I ended up buying two more as Christmas presents for family. I love that it doesn't need to be heated up ahead of time and yet creates a great crust.

At the current price of $149 plus tax, this is an expensive pizza steel. However, I did wait for the price to come down during prime day and was able to buy this for $89 plus tax, which came to $94.90 for me. This is still expensive but it is worth it to me. The steel is sturdy, large, and non-stick. I baked a couple of pizzas on this and the pizzas slid off like skates on an ice rink. This is not only for pizzas but can be used for calzones, flatbreads, etc. Note that I did not preheat the steel before using. Instead, I assembled the pizza on the steel and then baked it. I then moved the pizza to a cutting board for cutting so that I would not damage the steel. I am extremely ecstatic with this purchase. I have several other pizza pans, including another steel and a few pizza stones. This is by far the best, in my opinion.

This replaced an old pizza stone. The crust is crisp throught the entire pizza. Expensive but worth it if you care about taste and quality of what you are eating.
