One of the best features is how quickly it readies itself, taking only about fifteen seconds to start producing steam after you plug it in. The fifteen-hundred-watt power output makes quick work of deep creases, which is exactly what you need when you are trying to get ready in a hotel room before an event. The design is highly practical for both travel and home use. The water tank holds a generous ten ounces, giving you roughly eighteen minutes of continuous steam before needing a refill. That is more than enough time to handle a full suit and a dress in one session. Because the tank is detachable and fills from the top, it is easy to top off in a bathroom sink, and it does a great job of resisting leaks and drips during use. The smooth stainless steel soleplate glides effortlessly over different fabrics, though it is always smart to test a small, hidden area first when working with delicate materials like silk. With an eight-foot power cord, you have plenty of room to move around the garment while it hangs on a door or closet rod. The good: This clothing steamer works exactly as described. It's about the size of an iron but lighter, so 'kind of' portable. It seems to be a quality product and is study enough for It's intended use. It's very easy to use. The water container pulls out and snaps back in easily but isn't loose during use and doesn't fall out on It's own. It heats up quickly it took less than 10 seconds for me to get steam after turning on. I'm at a higher elevation (about 6k feet above sea level) so it's expected to steam quicker, but the claimed 15 seconds also seems very realistic for use at lower elevations. It's functional at steaming clothes to remove wrinkles. The bad: It doesn't produce as much steam as I had hoped. It's not bad, but is a lot slower than ironing. Conclusion: This product does everything. It was advertised to do. Unfortunately, it's not going to replace my iron. However, with sensitive clothes that I do not want to use the iron on, it is a reasonable alternative. At around $20 to $25 it's not a can't miss bargain, but it's not overpriced. If you are looking for it, a steamer for occasional use. Then, this might foot the bill. But, if you're trying to replace your iron, then forget about it.

I was really impressed by this little handheld steamer. After opening the box, I was first surprised by how small the steamer was. It also came with a brush attachment and a small fill-cup to fill the large capacity detachable tank in the bottom. I was next surprised by how fast it heated up and was ready to use. I would say 20 seconds from the on button to ready. I grabbed a shirt from my closet and I think I had it completely steamed and presentable within 2-3 minutes, as the attached picture shows. I'm not dressing up in fancy clothes, so just the basics of wrinkle removal is all my household requires and this was so much faster and more convenient than setting up an ironing board and iron. I did everything with the shirt still on the hanger. I have now had this for a couple weeks and I have been able to iron all of my shirts coming right out of the dryer just by putting them on a hanger and holding them up in front of me. When I ordered this it was $27 and now it's only $20, so the value for what you get is huge. I highly recommend this steamer.
