Love the colors of them, was perfect to have one for me & one for my partner to have handy. The original order had one that had difficulty working after filled, but the other was fine. Got a replacement for both so we ended up with 3. Not completely windproof, be warned. A bit hard to see outside as well, but better than most others I've gotten in the past. So far the products that work seem to do well. A lot of people are saying these lighters don’t light on the first try or don’t light at all. Read the product description. These lighters don’t come with ANY butane for safety reasons. You have to fill them yourself. If it doesn’t light on the first or second try, turn the valve on the bottom very slightly towards the plus (+) sign. It doesn’t take much. I like these, but they were bigger than expected (about 6" long), but that's OK with me. They do work well, but usually takes two clicks of the on/off switch to get them to ignite.

One of them takes a good 4-5 clicks to light, then barely stays on. The second one works like a charm, guess it's a good thing they give you two. * edit: if there were instructions I would have realized both work. There's a hidden gas adjustment on the bottom that you have to hinge out.

These work pretty well and it is nice to have a good strong flame. The only down side for me has been the amount of fuel they hold. It fills quickly and burns off quickly. It would be nice if they held about 2x or 3x more fuel in them.

Works as intended. These are pretty efficient on the butane, an are far an away better than those cheap butane lighters you find in gas stations or on the impulse buy at the grocery or parts store. Lights every time. I have bad luck with butane lighters. Some will last a week, sometimes maybe two, but they always give up an are more expensive in the long run than a disposable. These are going strong after a few years. In fact, the ones I just purchased are for my 3D printer toolbox if I need them in a pinch at the airfield.     • You gotta treat em right...
I use these to combat the wind when lighting up. Having be one fed up with the usual Bic lighters and cheap torches that only seem to last through a fill up up two, I did some research. Torch lighters actually require a little maintenance to ensure longevity. When empty, turn it down as far as possible. Using a hair pin or something equally long and skinny, press down on the fill nozzle until it is barely releasing air. Then using a quality butane, shake the can once then press the tip of the butane onto the nozzle of the torch, tilt slightly and press, filling until it shoots back out. LOL. THEN, let it warm to room temperature. Turn it to about midway flame and press it on a few times, but not quickly. If it still won't light, turn up a tiny bit more. Repeat until you get the size flame you prefer. After a few times of releasing the air, you'll be able to stop doing that. But always turn to the lowest setting when filling and warm it up. I have 3 that I rotate through. Simply amazing lighters if treated right... ... show more
