I took a risk purchasing this bed without any prior reviews. I have used other bed frames with metal materials and they always began squeaking and compromising structural integrity. This bed is ALL wood, the holes matched up perfectly and the instructions literally had 5 or 6 steps.. it took me like an hour or so. My only complaint is the drawers have nothing to guide them or stop them when opening/closing. I was hesitant to make this purchase since it didn't have many reviews, but we are glad we did. We turned the bottom bunk sideways to save space. 1. Order and delivery: Came in a reasonable amount of time. Packaged well and every piece was accounted for. Nothing was cracked or broken. It didn't indicate that it was coming in 2 packages on separate days, so it might mark 'delivered' but you won't have everything you need until the 2nd package. Packages are flat packed and manageable for one person at 40 and 70 lbs. 2. Assembly: Pictures are clear and assembly is pretty easy. We put it together with 2 people just under 2 hours. They do not provide any extra hardware pieces, so don't lose any. 3. Durability and use: Material and durability is as expected for the price. Great for toddlers and young kids. Perfect for smaller spaces or houses with lower ceilings. Overall, happy with the purchase. ... show more

My boyfriend builds furniture but didn't have time for another project. He was impressed with the solid frame on this bed. I had a hard time finding a reasonably priced bed that was mostly real wood. This bed is mostly solid pine with a few (good) plywood pieces. The drawers are flimsy chipboard, which won't last long but overall, I'm satisfied with the sturdy material and I see this bed lasting a long time! It was fairly easy to assemble but there were some holes that were not pre-drilled so we had to estimate the placement of the three drawer stops. At the end of the project, we were missing 4 wood screws which we replaced with our own stock. ... show more
