I’m running a Ryzen 9 9950X, and the Kraken 240 Elite RGB has been performing way better than I expected for a 240mm AIO. My CPU idles around 39°C and maxes out at just 54°C during gaming and normal workloads. For a chip this powerful, those numbers are insanely good, especially on a compact radiator. (Using a slight undervolt) The pump is quiet, the RGB looks clean without being overdone, and the LCD display is sharp and actually useful for monitoring temps. Installation was easy, and NZXT CAM recognized everything immediately. If you want strong thermals, quiet operation, and premium aesthetics in a 240mm cooler, this one absolutely delivers.

I had a Thermaltake AIO, lasted just over 2 years and then would not cool very well. First purchased worked fine, but started to fail just passed 2 year warranty. 2nd - Thermaltake software is crap, usb error constantly, sometimes screen would work sometimes it would not. Bought this Kraken Elite, temps back to normal, while idle about 35-40c during summertime (room is warmer), during games 55-60c. Software works perfectly, Screen is huge and beautiful. Super satisfied.

I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. I urgently needed to finish assembling my computer for work, but the product arrived in unacceptable condition. The box came without any seals, which was already concerning. As soon as I opened it, I noticed there were no installation instructions included. To make matters worse, there are no airflow direction indicators on the fans themselves, which makes proper installation even more difficult without guidance. After carefully checking all components, I realized that the breakout cable set is missing. This clearly looks like a previously opened or tampered package with missing accessories. At this point, I haven’t even been able to power on the system, so I can’t evaluate the product’s performance at all. What I can say is that the experience so far has been extremely frustrating. I’ve already lost valuable work time because I can’t complete my build without this essential part. How long will it take to receive a replacement so I can finally get back to work? This kind of delay causes real financial loss, and there is no compensation for that. Very dissatisfied.

This is the second one that I have purchased, this time for my daughters build. I was pleasantly surprised at the updated way they have ran the wiring along with the water tubing. I have used two other brands of AIO's and I came back to NZXT. Quality, ease of setup and performance are all great. Spend your money wisely, imho, this is the one to get.

The media could not be loaded. The only reason this review is getting two stars is because it truly is a beautiful AIO. Mine was making a pretty hefty grinding noise from the get go, and then it became a screaming banshee. I'm assuming mine was a defective one even though it was new. I stitched the two videos together so you could hear both of the noises it was making. I think I'm just going to stick with an air cooler regardless of the massive aura drop.

Keeps my 14900k (power limited 253 watts) tamed at ice cold temps. Would unlock the thing's power if not for 14th gen's reputation of degrading itself at high amounts of current/voltage whether you keep it cool or not. But alas. Performance is great. Screen is good, big, bright, colorful. But I wish there were more customization options on what system readings I can display, like being able to show anything hwinfo can in the tray like vram usage or ups battery life even would be nice. Have not messed around with web integration. Loses 1 star for being absurdly expensive for the performance. Yeah it's one of the best on the market, but you can get 95%-97% of this performance with a $100 arctic liquid freezer. Only spend 2.7x that amount on this thing if you're really into the looks and screen. Almost subtracted another star because the sheer size of the pump makes it a pain to fit my corsair vengeance RAM fan, but that wouldn't really have been fair. Just note that this pump is really big and if you have an active ram cooling solution it may conflict with it. HWinfo screenshot after 10 hours of all y-cruncher stress tests running overnight with fans/pump fixed at 100%.
