Really thick high quality stitching and materials used to build this RV sade screen and wind/rain blocker. Super easy to install on our manual awning. Slides right into a groove I didn't even know I had. I didn't bother to stake it down for the photos. Functions as described. Provides great shade and was really sturdy. We get lots of wind and rain on our area of Alaska and I'm sure the materials in this wind and shade screen will hold up longer than the frame of.my awning. We aren't really concerned about getting too hot up here in AK. I WAS hoping to be able to roll up this screen i to the awning for storage and travel and just keep it stored on there. Sadly there were 2 issues with this. 1. There was about an extra foot of screen hanging down with the awning fully rolled up which blocked the camper side door, and 2. The extra material added too much bulk to the awning when rolled such that it wouldn't fully latch in place for travel. Good thing the manufacturer included a storage bag for travel time. I guess they already knew what I had to find out on my own. It's easy enough to slide the screen back out, but I just wanted to be lazy.

I got this awning sunshade to add some extra protection and privacy to my camper setup, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it. Installing it was a breeze — just sliding it into the awning rail took only a few minutes. The material feels sturdy but flexible, and it does a great job blocking the sun, wind, and even some rain. I especially love how it increases my shaded space, making it comfortable enough for a picnic or just hanging out with a few people. The shade also helps keep my camper cooler and offers extra privacy, which is a nice bonus. Plus, it rolls up pretty compactly and comes with a storage bag, so it’s easy to pack away when I’m ready to hit the road. That said, there are a couple of things I had to learn the hard way. When rolled up with the screen attached, it hangs down about a foot and blocks the camper door, plus it adds bulk so the awning won’t latch fully for travel. Thankfully, the storage bag was included, so I just stash it there instead of rolling it up with the awning. Also, it’s pretty heavy, so if your awning doesn’t have support legs, you might want to invest in some. Without support, the extra weight can be an issue. One minor gripe: the plastic stakes it comes with feel pretty cheap and probably won’t last long, so I’d recommend swapping those out for sturdier metal stakes or weighting it down if you’re on hard ground. All in all, this sunshade is a great upgrade for any camper awning. It definitely improves comfort on hot, sunny days and makes the whole outdoor living area way more enjoyable.

This awning is a great solution for creating a shaded area regardless of the orientation in which you parked your trailer / RV, (which is not always under your control), and at any time of daylight. The screen blocks the light yet is allows for airflow when the curtain is open, When curtain is closed, the awning is also waterproof, creating an area protected from the rain. Overall great idea, with grest implementation and quality workmanship and materials. Recommended.

Material feels durable and built to last, thread stitching appears generous or above average thickness. The length prevents fully rolling up into the awning, so requires more frequent removal and replacement when traveling.

This awning sun shade screen is a game-changer for camping! It's incredibly helpful when the sun is beaming down, providing excellent shade and cooling. It's also super easy to place on your awning, making setup a breeze. I absolutely love the idea of the window vent that you just roll up – it's perfect for airflow and enjoying the view without taking down the entire screen. The quality of this sun shade is excellent, feeling very durable and well-made. What really impressed me was how well it worked on our last camping trip when it rained most of the time. It provided great protection from the elements, allowing us to still enjoy our outdoor space. Highly recommend for anyone looking to upgrade their RV awning!

This sun shade is exactly as advertised. I do think the plastic nails it came with will have to be replaced eventually, and I’d advise having pliers handy to pull them up, and a hammer or rock to nail them down. I was impressed with how easy this was to install. It was added onto my fiamma awning in a few minutes. Before I took it down, it did go through some wind gusts and rain - the ground below was completely dry, and the wind did not pull it out from the awning (thankfully). The wind was unexpected, ha. I really like how much this increases the living space under my awning!! It makes my shaded area plenty big enough for a picnic table or a group of 4-5 people with no problem. My awning is 11.5 feet, and I got the version for an 11 foot awning. It fit as advertised. It has the added benefit of providing extra support to hold the legs in place, increasing privacy and shade, and keeping the van cooler too!

This sun shade slips into the track on the awning, it takes less than 5 minutes to install and set up. The fabric it's made with seems very durable, and will likely last a long time. The window is great, it can be closed or open depending on if you roll the fabric up or not. The shade is a great idea, it cuts down significantly on the heat from the sun and it gives a nice shaded area to relax in. The one thing is that it is a bit longer than the awning length, I'm sure it's so it can be staked to the ground - but because of that extra length it won't just roll into the awning so it needs to be taken out of the track and put in its' storage bag every time - and it needs to be dry when it's put away so that can be a whole another issue. It is compact and easy to store too.
