For reference, I have curly, frizzy, shoulder-length hair. Pictures attached of my natural hair for comparison. I used to use the original Dyson wide barrel attachment to straighten my hair after washing. This attachment is so much better. It works faster, and gets my hair straighter, w less frizz. Also you have a little more control over how much curl or wave you want. 3rd picture is after styling. Took my hair drying time from 1 hour 10 minutes (using the original Dyson barrel) down to only 25 minutes! Only product I use is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum on damp hair before drying. PLUS: -perfect fit/ compatibility w my Dyson airwrap. Not loose or wobbly at all. -tip stays cool to the touch, no fear in grabbing the end of this attachment for better control. -faster, straighter, less frizz MINUS: -I only wish there were more color options to match all the different colors of Dyson, but that would be kinda crazy so I understand lol OVERALL: it's a curly frizz-monster's dream. It's literally the only attachment I use anymore ✔️

Dyson tends to be a pricy brand, but I'm not sure why this "DrFlito Upgraded Round Volumizing Brush Attachment," is so expensive. It's good quality, I guess, but I'm not convinced it's a great value. Upon opening the package I was under-impressed. The whole thing feels very plastic-y and it does not grab the hair well. It's a bit of a project trying to get under the layers to round-out and pull the brush through. I'm leaving 4 stars because it matches the item description and presents well enough, but it's really just an average 3 star product in my book. It's fits okay and seems durable enough, the heat level is fine. The size is just about perfect for volumizing, but again, I don't see a great value with this "upgrade."

This brush attachment is just okay. The build quality feels decent, but I struggled a bit with the connection to my Airwrap—it doesn't snap on as securely as the original, feeling slightly loose during use. While styling, the bristles tend to snag on my fine hair rather than gliding through smoothly, which makes the volumizing process a bit frustrating. It works for a quick dry, but the finish isn't particularly sleek or long-lasting for me.

My wife recently started using the Upgraded Round Volumizing Brush Attachment for her Dyson Airwrap, and she has been really impressed with it. She loves how easy it is to attach to the Airwrap and how it makes styling her hair much faster and simpler. The upgraded bristles do a great job of smoothing hair while adding volume, and she has noticed that her curls and waves look fuller and more polished after using it. She says it feels much gentler on her hair than some of the other brushes she’s tried, which helps reduce frizz and keeps her hair looking healthy. One of the things she really appreciates is how versatile the brush is. She uses it to straighten her hair when she wants a sleeker look and to add volume when she styles her curls. The round design makes it easy to lift hair at the roots, giving her that salon-style bounce without too much effort. She also likes that it heats evenly and works efficiently with the Airwrap, so she doesn’t have to go over the same section multiple times. On the downside, she did notice that for very thick sections of hair, it takes a little longer to get the volume she wants, so she usually works in smaller sections for the best results. Also, the brush is a bit larger than she expected, which is something to keep in mind if you have very short hair or want precision for bangs. These are minor issues, though, and didn’t take away from her overall experience. Overall, my wife is very happy with this upgraded volumizing brush attachment. It’s effective, easy to use, and adds noticeable volume and smoothness to her hair. For anyone using a Dyson Airwrap who wants a tool that can lift, smooth, and style at the same time, this brush is definitely worth adding to your collection.

First of all, when I ordered this, I misread that it was for the Dyson air wrap, which I do not have, so I was not able to actually try this out. That being said, I do want to review the quality of the product in hand. It is solid and smooth, and definitely feels like it would live up to the Dyson standards. The bristles are smooth and glide through my hair nicely, though again that is just with it in hand, not attached to the actually Dyson. Unfortunately I don’t have a need for this without owning the Dyson, but I have no doubt it would be great for its intended use.

I love this brush for what it DOESN’T do. It doesn’t have any metal parts, so it doesn’t retain heat and burn your scalp or hands if you touch it. It doesn’t block the flow of hot air to the underside of your curls because it has rows of air holes between the rows of spines. It doesn’t have tips on the ends of the spines, so it doesn’t trap and tangle your hair or stick the brush to the side of your head when you roll your hair up too close to your scalp. It doesn’t require two hands to hold the brush and dryer because it attaches to the top of the dryer and leaves one hand free to wrap your hair around the wand. It is well worth the price to have great curls without the problems associated with using a curling iron or hand-held round brush. The only “doesn’t” that could be a problem, is that it doesn’t fit brands or models of hairdryers other than the Dyson Airwrap HS01, HS05, or HOS8. You can prevent having that problem by checking the model number of your hairdryer before ordering.
