When I saw the box it came in, I wondered how such a large lamp would fit inside. I was impressed by the way the lamp was packaged for assembly. All the wires were already snaked through the poles, which is the hardest part of building a lamp. The lamp shade was very cleverly designed. It was rolled up into a scroll-like bundle. It is a single strip of fabric reinforced on the brim and has very tiny hooks that attach to the metal frame. It closes tightly with a hook-and-loop strip on the ends, which makes it look seamless when connected. The lamp came with a light bulb that also has different light modes for day and night. It even includes a very sturdy base and a foot control. Most of all, I really enjoyed how easy it was to assemble this lamp. It went from being boxed contents to brightening my daughter's room in under 10 minutes. It is also a very nice lamp for the price and goes well with the modern furniture in the room. ... show more
