I was actually surprised at how well this double din stereo worked. It is basic but if basic is all you need then this is for you. I replaced my non working factory stereo in my beater Honda Civic with this upgraded Dsp double din car stereo. The good news: It has wireless apple carplay/android auto, I use it with wireless apple carplay and it’s works flawlessly so far. Bluetooth works great as well. The stereo itself is very light weight and was very easy to install. You can mirror your phone if you need that but I just needed the basics, apple car play for maps, music and a backup camera. For a basic stereo the equalizer is actually pretty decent. You can adjust 32 bands which is nice for dialing in your sound system if you care to do so. It pushes 60watts max per channel which is good enough to replace your factory stereo and it still sounds decent. The bad news: The stereo arrived a little damaged. The screen cover was broken on the side where the screws attach it and the screen was popping out on one corner but I think this happened in shipping and I was able to pop it back into place and get it screwed back down so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me. You can not add/download apps to this stereo unless I just haven’t figured it out yet but again this is not a big deal to me because like I said before I only needed CarPlay, music and backup camera. You can use the sd card or usb slot to watch movies if that’s your thing. It lags just slightly but not enough to be annoying. Sometimes basic is better and if that’s what you need then this is a good budget buy for the price.

I still have to install it in my Honda Fit and it will not be that straightforward because of the way the dashboard is not because of the product. So I tested it in my lab. I am amazed. Flawless. In a matter of minutes I had the wiring down, the speakers connected. I powered it on, connected by BT my android phone and was talking to google, getting maps, getting radio, good sounding music from radio, phone, SD cards, making phone calls etc. Touch is very precise and responsive. I am used to having to troubleshoot whatever piece of personal electronics I get these days. To have to spend hours to familiarize with un-intuitive user interfaces and installation issues. Not here. Certainly merit of Android auto but I have had my set of less than successful experiences with the integration of such features in other products using the same interface. The 6.9-inch touchscreen is bright, precise, and very responsive. The interface is intuitive, and I had no trouble finding the features and settings I needed. The DSP and equalizer controls also offer plenty of options for users who enjoy adjusting their audio experience. Remote is fully functional and easy to read. The price for what you get is awesome. Just about 4 portions of current day salmon… 5 stars and for the first time in my reviews I would give 6 if possible…

Is this a souped up radio? No. Does it have wireless Apple and Android play? Yes. Does it do what I need it to do? Also yes. I replaced my old broken radio with this option and I felt like I seriously upgraded the whole car! It really made life so much easier to have my Apple Play available and know that I can take calls through the Bluetooth option or choose to listen to my own music instead of the FM stations. I am overall pretty impressed with this radio!
