We bought this thermostat to replace an old dial version. It was easy to install. It's easy-to-read and very sensitive. Our air conditioner and fan have gone on several times since we put it in. It seems accurate so far compared to the other thermometers by Acurite we have in our house. The screen doesn't stay blue. The blue does go off and the screen toggles between showing the current temperature and the humidity. ... show more

Was daunted by the cautionary instructions as to wire attachments. Had a HVAC pro install it to be on the safe side. Requires 2 AAA batteries and was disappointed that they did not come with the unit. On the plus side, easy to set, use and read the large LCD display.
