Why a 5 star when it looks so filthy??? I received this item USED. I ordered New. Used came in a plastic wrapper. No manual, just usb and the speaker. I let amazon know i can send photos but they said theres no need so im posting here in case anyone else is sent something used. We scheduled a return and replacement. Holy moly does it pack a punch. I wanted something to replace my Alexa as a Bluetooth speaker, that won't listen to me all the time and I love Soundcore earbuds so this was a no brainer on sale. It's as loud as Alexa, more so easily and crisp. From hip-hop to classical, it all sounds amazing in whatever room I'm in. Never imagined such power in such a small, durable and affordable package. This small speaker has reasonably good sound. A little anemic in the bass range, as you would expect, but nice, clear sound with good definition. Whatever "bassup" is supposed to mean is unclear - there are no settings or controls for that, nor is it mentioned in the materials that came with it. Battery life has been impressive so far. It's incredible, I bought this as a speaker for my PC and incase I wanna have a bonfire and so far, it works amazing, it has a insane battery life of running constantly for 2 days, which is really good, and only takes about a hour and a half, max to charge to full, it works straight out of the box, and the buttons are easy to work and understand, it is very loud when maxed out, it has very simple and easy controls, good volume adjustability, from whisper quiet to your gonna wake the neighbors, simple red charging light, and a blue light women full, and another blue light near the Bluetooth button when it's pairing and solid on when paired, it's got nice sound effects to tell you what's going on with it... It's pretty stable on any surface, as long as it's flat it will be fine, even if it's a bit of an incline ... show more

Since my car's (2015 ford escape) SYNC will not pair to any bluetooth, I needed a speaker that would. My Anker speaker is terrific. When I turn it on, it connects in about 3 seconds. The sound is superb. The actual speaker is small, about 2.5x8 inches and does not get in the way of my dashboard. When I want to rock with some music, the volume can be about as loud as I want.
