The device works as advertised. The sound is clear but not especially rich. For my needs the device works fine for Apple Music and other audio. The gradations of volume are a bit coarse, going from barely audible to too loud in just a few clicks. However, this is not a problem for me. First things first, if you want a super loud speaker that can fill a room, look elsewhere. This thing will not compete with the likes of a JBL Flip 6/7, BUT, it's also 1/3rd the price. I got mine on sale for $30 and for that money, it's fantastic. Battery life is great and it shows battery status over Bluetooth. Sound quality is pretty solid, not amazing but absolutely passable for the money. Very easy to setup and use, USB-C charging is wonderful, I love the soft coating around the sides and the overall look of the speaker is very refined, great build quality especially considering the price. TLDR; if you want something loud with a lot of bass around this size, save your money and grab a Flip 6/7. TL/DR: over 100 foot Bluetooth connectivity range, 24+ hour battery life, loud speakers with excellent bass. Best portable speaker you could find for quality and price. This speaker is awesome! First thing, Bluetooth connectivity range is insane compared to other Bluetooth speakers and headphones I’ve used. Line of sight is important and can stay connected over 100 feet away from the speaker, metal and concrete objects will interfere with that distance but I can regularly walk 50+ feet away and stay connected. Secondly, very easy to use and connect to. Battery life is excellent and exceeded my expectations, I would estimate being able to use it for about 24 hours before having to charge it, although you may get several more hours beyond that. You can charge it while using it as well. For its size I was pleasantly surprised at how loud the speaker can get and has good bass to it as well. The sound quality is good for the price. I haven't tested it at full volume; I basically use it just for myself. The battery lasts a long time; I've used it for over 24 hours, and it's still working perfectly. I bought it thinking I'd be able to hear the stereo effect, but I think that was asking too much from such a small speaker. Perhaps pairing it with another speaker could achieve that effect. This little speaker is a power house it has clear and crisp sound decent bass for not having a subwoofer. It's extremely easy to pair to any Bluetooth device. The volume is easy to control with the obvious plus and minus buttons. You do have to hold the power button to turn it on and off and there is a play/pause button between the volume buttons. Not concert quality but certainly acceptable after all is considered. With using the Sirius library on my phone, I can listen to exactly what I want throughout the house and even when doing outside work, which is why I bought this unit. I use this for my desktop and quality is great for it's small size. I love Anker products, they have not failed me so far and I've had some of their products for almost ten years! It's very easy to use and can easily transition via Bluetooth from desktop to my phone or vice versa. I'll blast music on this while I'm cooking and it's fantastic, filing the whole house with music. You can also use the speaker while charging. I've never had to time how long I can use it for without charging but I think about 6-8 hours at least. I also don't generally use it constantly at maximum volume either so it's hard to tell how long a full charge really lasts. The texture on this is like that of silicone so there's enough grip where it shouldn't slip from your fingers while moving it around, which I really like. This is a really great speaker. Good sound and lots of bass from a very tiny package. The sound seems to work fine through Bluetooth, with no sound latency. However, there is a 1/4 second delay in the sound through the aux input which causes horrible echoing and video sync issues. So, it will not work for any kind of real-time application with the aux input. I was planning to use it as a very small amplifier for an electric cello, but the delay is really bad, so I can't use it for that purpose. ... show more
