    • DO NOT PURCHASE! Three of the three consoles I purchased were defective!
I wish this could be zero stars. I purchased 3 of these early to get some of my Christmas shopping done early. After opening one at home we hooked it up to the TV. The pictures showed up but there was no way to play the game. It didn't work! Yes. We did put good batteries in. They could select a game and get out of the game to move on to others but while in the game the controllers didn't work. I was so embarrassed. I gave the kids money and told them to try on their own TVs with the other consoles I'd purchased. One of my kids texted that their game didn't work either when they tried on their TV. I'm just sick that I trusted that these would work. And because I do my Christmas shopping early the window for returns is over. I can only hope this review will stop others from purchasing this defective gaming console. ... show more

    • Be careful before purchasing... What are you looking for in a Game Stick?
(Revised rating to reflect the good customer service from the seller. They contacted me to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase.) Hello. I have an honest if not mixed review for this Game Stick Pro. My main area of interest is the classic arcade games of the 1980s. From the description and videos it would appear that I would be happy with the availability and selection. However, I was greatly disappointed with the results. Yes you have a nice selection of classic arcade games BUT they are not the original versions. For example if you like Frogger then you will get the inferior ports to the Atari 2600, Atari 5200 versions, etc. This is a huge letdown and they really aren't worth playing if you wanted an arcade quality version. Another point of contention comes from the advertised video quality. You will not get 4k or even HD. I tried it on multiple televisions and monitors and they all show 720p. That isn't bad but don't expect super high qulity graphics. To be fair and honest I need to point out some positives. The system is super easy to set up and is truly plug and play. That is awesome. Also the system has great controls for the menus, browsing, searching and selecting your favorite games. These features might be better than advertised. So a mixed review of a 3. Yes the system delivers all that it promises except for the true classic arcade games. I tried some of the retro console games (not my main interest) and they were just fine. Thus if you want any game that isn't a classic arcade game then you will probably be very happy with this game stick. For example if you were looking to enjoy your old Sega Genesis games then you will be very pleased. I am simply dissatisfied because the one category of games that I desired are crappy Atari 2600 (and higher) ports of which come nowhere near the quality or experience of the originals. If I had known now what I didn't know at the time of purchase then I would not have bought this game stick. I am disappointed in the compensated video reviews by the paid performers who only sampled one game and don't actually try the product extensively. If any of them actually had played any of the classic arcade games they would hopefully have been honest enough to speak the truth. I am blown away by how good this little game console is. I have been using it for few weeks now, and it’s been super reliable and a blast to play. It has all the famous arcade classics plus some “hidden games” I had never even heard of. For the price, this is easily the best thing I have bought all year. Would give 0 stars if I could!!! Arrived on time and I was very excited to power it up and play. Followed the instructions step by step. Controllers lit up and seemed decent after installing 2 AA batteries. Next up was the stick. It doesn’t come with a wall plug but I have a few extras (good quality) lying around. I plugged it in and nothing…. After unplugging it and plugging it back in a few times I could hear a very high frequency sound coming from it. It stopped after unplugging. However, no blue indicator light or anything. I even switched out cords with better quality ones I had to see if that made a difference. It did not. Couldn’t get it to power on at all. I’m annoyed but at least I “saved” $43 because I will be returning it and not take my chance on purchasing another one. ... show more
