Awesome HDMI adapter for the GameCube
I’m a retro gamer from Japan and this E·O·N GameCube HD Adapter turned out to be a really great buy. The best thing is the picture quality—it looks super clean. No setup, just plug it in and boom, HDMI. That’s awesome. Only a couple of small notes: it works only with the original GameCube model, and when you plug it in you have to push it all the way until it clicks. The power light may come on even if it’s not fully in, but it won’t work right unless it’s clicked in place.

Awesome product - nostalgic gameplay
This is absolutely an amazing piece of tech. So for the GC HD makes gamecube playable on modern TV's that do not support the standard avi or digital video connections or for this that do not have a crt tv or monitor to use for it. No longer super blurry. Overall this is an extremely helpful product that allows you to enjoy the nostalgic games on GameCube again. This is compatible with most GameCubes and helps with overall color accuracy in brightness as well as cleaning up lines.

My testing of this Device.
For a while I have been playing my component games such as the gamecube on a 1080p tv and now with a 4k TV I wanted an adapter for my gamecube then I recalled hearing of this. Yes the price tag can scare someone but allow me to say that after testing this on my gamecube to a 1080p HDTV I can say I see a lot that made me happy. Near next to no lag inputs, picture quality is near perfect with no blurs and I tested it on the gameboy player and games that emulate older games such as the Zelda Collectors Edition. To take a chance for gamecube lovers to enjoy their classic gems for modern tvs this is the adapter to get, yes for a 160 price tag is expensive but understand that they gotta make things perfect and it's meant for the gamecube with years to perfect its capabilities. I recommended it to my brother and he loves it when he tried it out. So please if you can get this adapter and continue to play classic games like Zelda windwaker, mario sunshine and more.

Fantastic quality for HDMI with your GameCube
After a lot of research this was the decision I had made to get the GCHD MKII to play my GameCube at its greatest capacity. Previous I only played with the AV cables. With the component cables so expensive, it made sense to make the investment to get the best product available for HDMI gaming and I couldn't be happier. It's easy to connect and use, and the output quality to my HDTV is exactly what I was hoping for! Pure gaming bliss with the GameCube! It was amazing to put F-Zero GX into 480p and widescreen for the first time and enjoy it on my 4K tv. Picture quality is as clear as I would had hoped and it vastly increased my enjoyment of all my GameCube games. It's worth it! I added a video as well. Hopefully Amazon doesn't compress it....

What a difference!
I was expecting maybe a minor difference or slightly less blurry picture. I was sure pleasantly surprised. It just showed up in the mail today and I immediately hooked it up after work. I’ve been using a cheap converter that lets me plug my GameCube component cables into an HDMI port on my 4K TV and it works fine in some aspects but text and distant textures were very fuzzy (especially in bright colorful games like Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker) and you missed out on a lot of detail and the picture just always looked out of focus. With this! Yeah it doesn’t make the GameCube play in 4K Ultra HD, but honestly nothing will. Text and environmental textures look crisp, the sound is improved, and character textures no longer look smeared so you can see definition in their clothes/armor/etc. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Well worth it! I just hope it lasts. I’ve noticed a few people on here had theirs break after a month or two of use, but I’m hoping those were just isolated incidents and that this thing is built to last, because I’m very much looking forward to replaying all of my favorite GameCube games with this new found visual and audio upgrade.

The BEST way to use GameCube on modern displays
I own a model DOL-001 GameCube so I thought I'd buy this. I own plenty of other converters for it, even some of the cheap ones that require an external power supply on Amazon. This is the best one, with the best image and you don't even need external power. It's safe on the device and delivers great picture quality, with no screen jitter or stutter. My only gripe with this is that this entire device is worth nearly twice the price of a GameCube (at current of this writing). I can recommend this only if you're a GameCube enthusiast or have no other way to play a game cube unless it's HDMI and if you are willing to dish out this steep price. You do get what you pay for though, and trust me when I say that I feel like my money was well spent when buying this. I just wish the price was a little lower considering you can get a Nintendo switch and a game for the price of this, and a GameCube

Check Your GameCube Model
This upscaler works for older GameCube DOL-001 models that have the analog av and digital av out. This photo is a GameCube DOL-101 and it isn’t compatible with this upscaler Putting the upscaler to newer GameCube DOL-101 models don’t fit because it only has an only analog av and no digital AV out port. There’s no way to tamper or remove the upscaler’s digital av. If you have the DOL-101 GameCube model. Make sure you get the EON Super 64 HDMI adapter instead. Also, there are many upscalers to choose too!
