This was a really fun gift to purchase for myself. I felt nostalgic to play my collection of Gamecube games on a Nintendo Gamecube, so I bought a refurbished one from this seller. I had zero issues with shipping or handling. Everything came in a very secure and discreet box. The only issue I really have with the product is that it came with low quality replacement wires. While I'm certain finding legitimate Gamecube wires is rather difficult, the wires that came with my system don't feel like they will last very long. That being said, I've now had my refurbished Gamecube for approximately 1 year, and the wires are still functioning. However, the fact that this Gamecube turned on and was able to read and play my Gamecube games was (and still is) very exciting for me. The packing was perfect. The product was in excellent condition. It is a gift for my son who had his stolen when he was serving in the marines. I didnt think I could ever replace it. But the cost and condition is superb.

So far my new gamecube is running flawlessly and looks good in my collection, there was a small problem at first were the system wouldn't start reading the disk by I think it was form lack of use,regardless thank you for the renewed gamecube!

Console ordered from RetroRefresh. The console would not play any of our discs nor would it play the “refurbished” game we purchased from the seller. The game discs we already own play fine in our other GameCube. The game we ordered from this seller would not work in either system! We returned the items over a month ago had have yet to receive a refund!! Buyer beware!! ... show more

I'm new to gaming so I didn't realize it was locked to the Japanese region until I bought a PAL game. Had to buy a new lead & memory card as well, so just be aware of these small details....Just got the Japanese game but it doesn't work either so it looks like I've done my money!!!

The system looks brand new. Upon turning the unit on, it wouldn't read the discs that were put into the system. Luckily, I have seen some information on YouTube on how to get the laser to reads discs. I adjusted the potentiometer on the bottom of the laser circuit board and got it to read the discs.
