I take photos for PCs I build and sell pretty frequently so I was looking for some relatively inexpensive but solid quality light boxes. A friend of mine showed me these and I was hooked! I've used these for almost a year now and it was very well worth the money! I cannot recommend these enough if you need a relatively inexpensive set of light boxes for photography use.

If you're looking for a good starter lighting lit, this is a great one. It comes with all the accessories, no problem with shipping or assembly. Note, the carrying case included is very cheap plastic, so you may want to invest in something better if you're going to transport. I keep it in my studio, so no problem. One thing to be careful about is that it is a little top-heavy. No dangers of tipping over, yet. But, the tripod base is lightweight and there is always a fear of tipping, when I'm moving. My studio had set lighting, so I'm not playing with the setting too much. Once I found what looks good on camera, I kept it. There is a remote which is nice, but I mostly just use the on/off switch on the cord. Overall, nice starter lighting.

This light is incredibly bright, and easy to assemble and use. The provided remote works well too; however, the remote works with the installed lightbulb, which means, you have to open up the diffuser in order for the signal to reach the bulb. Kind of annoying, but not end of the world. The different temperatures of the light are nice and smooth, easy to use and adjust. The physical temperature of the light bulb isn't too hot. There is a metal heat sink on it to help with dissipating the heat; however, even being under that shroud, it hasn't gotten piping hot. I wish the power cord was a bit longer, an extra couple of feet would be incredibly nice and helpful. The light also comes with a bag. I'm not entirely sure why, as I haven't been able to figure out how to get anything back into it. Maybe I'll figure it out one day. Still happy with the purchase, it is plenty bright enough, large enough, and easy to use for its price point.

Great starter lighting kit for home studio setups I bought this MOUNTDOG 2-pack softbox lighting kit to improve my lighting for video calls, filming content, and general home studio use, and overall I’m really happy with it. Setup was very quick and straightforward. I had both lights assembled and ready to use in about 10–15 minutes. The stands are lightweight but stable enough for indoor use, and the height adjustment makes it easy to position the lights where you need them. The light quality is a big upgrade compared to regular room lighting or ring lights. It produces a soft, even glow that looks flattering on camera and helps reduce harsh shadows. It’s especially good for talking-head videos, Zoom meetings, and basic product shots. I also like that it comes with adjustable color temperature options, so I can switch between warmer and cooler lighting depending on the mood or time of day. The remote control is a nice bonus and makes it easy to adjust settings without walking back and forth. That said, it is definitely more of a beginner or budget-friendly setup. The softbox material and stands feel a bit lightweight, so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy professional studio use or frequent travel. I recently purchased the Softbox Lighting Kit, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! I needed reliable and high-quality lighting equipment to elevate my work, and this kit has exceeded my expectations in every way. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and straightforward the setup process was. The kit comes with clear instructions, and I had everything assembled and ready to go in just a few minutes. The only thing I would suggest, is that the mount isn't the sturdiest, it's a little top heavy, so just make sure one of the legs is pointing towards you. It's super nice having the remote also, you can adjust the lighting if you need to. In addition, the kit's portability is a major plus. I am returning this. You get what you pay for! I know, everyone says that it's cheaply made, but don't expect a Broncolor at this price, so the make is not the issue. It's the operation. I bought the two light kit and each light comes with a remote. Each remote controls both lights and I mean both lights at the same time. You can't get these lights to operate independently, not even if you aim one remote at one light and the other at the other light. According to the directions, you can operate both lights from one remote and yes you can. Like I said, both at the same time and to the same degree of brightness. But, to add insult to injury, the diagram on the instruction sheet -- if you want to call these "instructions" -- shows a remote that is different from the one you receive, so good luck trying to decipher what all of the buttons mean. On and off work and the rest sort of work, but again all they do is the same thing to both lamps equally at the same time. You can change the color of the lights and you can make them go bright or dim. There is no other way to make one light stronger or weaker than the other unless you physically get up and move the light stand further away or closer. If you are a lighting ratio nut, this system is a different kind of nuts. Additionally, you cannot turn the lights off from the remote even though there is an off and on switch on the remote. The only thing you can adjust at the light, itself, is to individually turn the light on and off. I've been a photographer for a lot of years and use studio strobes. Constant light might be great for video, but not this set. And let me say this because a lot of reviewers complained about the remotes: There might be a kit that works beautifully. I just didn't get that one. I think I'd rather spend the money than fuss around with a bargain again.
