This softbox lighting system is a great value for the price. They were super easy to set and offer multiple types of lighting, with dimmer and remotes for each light. They are lightweight which means they can topple over if bumped. But that was an easy problem to solve. I just created some weights out of an old pair of socks and some dried beans. You could use rice or sand also. Or just buy sandbags. I like to DIY. Anywho, I highly recommend this lighting system.

Every purchase is about price and value. This softbox kit is a good value for beginners or those with limited needs or budgets. It works perfectly for my home podcast studio. But a second kit will likely be needed to cover the space. All of the video reviews are accurate. It won't last forever, but long enough to get you to the next level.

Question -- how long /many hours will the light last? This light is undeniably bright, and that's its standout feature. It bathes the room in brilliant illumination. However, its major flaw is its precarious balance. It tips over far too often, which can be frustrating. While the light's brightness is impressive, its instability is a significant downside. You'll find yourself frequently adjusting its position to prevent it from falling. If you can tolerate the occasional tipping and prioritize brightness above all else, this light might work for you. But if stability is crucial in your setup, you might want to explore more stable options on the market. Overall, it's a mixed bag - fantastic in brightness but disappointing in balance.

Easy to adjust the color and brightness. I put a little Velcro on the back of the remote and on the side of the softbox. Now I always know where the remote is when I start a photo session. Very pleasing results.

Do not buy!!!!!! This thing is NOT long lasting. I literally use it ONE TIME a week to make a youtube video, this is treated with deep care and always stored in the same case it came. I live in a pet free home and dont smoke. And right after their CONVENIENT 3 months warranty that they offer this thing fell apart, the part where you attach the bulb wroke so i had to screw it DIY. When i contacted them they said they could not help because it was out of warranty by two weeks. THEY DO NOT BACK UP THEIR PRODUCTS AS THEY SAY. SInce im on a budget i have not been able to replace this with something else, so for the last 5 months ive had to repair it 6 different times already, and the piece of cloth for the lights is already useless (is like desintegrating slowly, so using it or not use it at this point is the same. EVERY WEEK WHEN IM ABOUT TO MAKE MY VIDEO I REGRET BUYING THIS PIECE OF junk (to say the least). My friends laugh at me when i display such a disgraceful thing to work with. I honestly dont recomend this to anyone. Im stuck with it because i am on a very tight budget and i searched for weeks for the right set of lights to make the right choice and i was SCAMMED by this PHOTOSTUDIO people and have no choice to keep it until i have enough to buy a new one. You shouldnt do this to American people PHOTOSTUDIO! If i wanted a cheap looking and low bad quality item i would have bought it at Walmart (and even there i think i would have had a better option than this). The ONLY thing that works fine with this item is the remote. NOTHING ELSE DOES.
