I've used this pool cleaner now three days in a row and here's what I've noticed. I like the charging indicator on the top of the cleaner it blinks as it progresses through the battery charge levels and when it finishes the indicator stays steady lit. It does take about I'd say 60 minutes maybe a little longer to fully charge from a depleted state. Each time I've used it it pretty much depleted the battery to the point where it required charging if I wanted to use it again. I have a partially buried above ground pool which has a sand base under the liner so it's not perfectly smooth. I noticed the cleaner get stuck on my raised center drain a time or two. I mentioned I have used this three times now three days in a row and it does make a difference it does pick up debris. I emptied the debris trap today and there was some debris in there. I suppose I'm using this cleaner more as a tool to stir the algae so it gets filtered. It is winter time now so the pool is not accumulating debris as it would during usage season. I don't see this cleaner as a 100% pool vacuuming solution because it does not climb walls it only does the bottom of the pool it will be a help though when I combine it with my regular pool cleaning tool. Now whether it is worth the price of admission or not that really depends on you. I personally would caution anyone from spending the amount that they're asking for this it's not a need it's not a necessity it's more of a a nice to have kind of tool. As the cleaner moves around the pool the battery indicator does deplete as the state of charge of the battery depletes and the cleaner does return to its point of insertion when it's finished and I have had to get it unstuck two of the last three days and to day when I used it it did not return to the point of insertion but I think that was because it probably ran out of battery. **** UPDATE**** I've been using this about every other day or so - it's winter time - but it does keep the bottom of the pool clean - I'm happy with it. It does not always return to where I put it in the pool, so, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. Not a big deal to me.

Cons: if you have a deep pool the hook does not do the job of getting the bot. Battery could last longer. Pros: moves fast. I just opened my I ground and there was a cluster of stuff on the bottom took half of it up before it died. Cleans easily. Top pops off and you shake out the stuff or hose it out. The filter can also be hosed to clean. Charges quickly as well.

This is a great little pool vacuum. I have another wired one because it is a 27k gallon in ground pool that does most of the heavy lifting, but the problem is getting that one in and out of the built in spa is a pain in the butt. This one is perfect for that application. Drop it in and the job is done quickly. I also throw it in the big pool so he can help out his bigger brother. The hook attachment for your pool pole makes it easy to pull out at the end of its long workday. Charging and cleaning is quick and eaasy. Almost swim season!!

UPDATE: May 6 Customer support reached out and corrected issue. New one works well, couldn’t be happier. Got this in hopes of making it a little bit easier to open the pool this year. When it first went in and I started watching it I was hopefull bc it was definitely disturbing everything that built up on the bottom over winter. Sadly 95% of what it went through and kicked up went back onto the bottom of the pool. After about 2 hours I went back out to see how it did and all I could tell was that it had moved around a bit. As of now Im not expecting it to be usefull. Will update after the pool is completely cleaned and we will see if it can handle daily cleaning.

So far I had to push it to areas it just refuses to get on its own. It does clean more than half the pool and is easy to charge as well easy to clean. I’m not too sure how long these Batteries last before they don’t charge anymore. So if I get 2 plus years I’ll be surprised. So I can’t funny judge it until I know how long its life is. I’m talking great care of it as it’s easy to maintain. I just wish it completed the entire pool bottom and not just 60% I don’t like having to push it to where it fights me just to get it to the area it keeps skipping.
