Features

  • Package Includes: 1 Set 3D Printer Ender 3 Extruder Upgrade (Right-handed Ender 3 Dual Gear Extruder) and 2pcs Quality Extruder Stainless Steel Drive Extruder Gear.
  • This 3D Printer Dual Drive Gear Extruder was original designed for CR-10S PRO 3D Printer, but also fits Ender 3 V2, Ender 3, Ender 3 pro, CR-10 series, ender 5, S5 Tornado and other 1.75mm filament FDM 3D Printers.
  • Update Install- Upgrade 3D Printer dual gear extruder : Compared to the previous extruder, the arm fittings have been upgraded to add a brass washer between the stainless steel gear and the aluminum housing, so the gear teeth will NOT collide badly to housing, and prevent the gear from "eating" the aluminum housing. Idler gear is fixed by a half thread screw, keep running smoothly, and more durble.
  • Upgrade Ender 3 Extruder have High Tension: The prowerful extrusion spring, enhancing the feed strength, and ensure stable to push filament into the printer hotend. Suitable for most kinds of filament, such as ABS PLA Wood TPU PTEG, etc.
  • Tips (3D Printer Extruder Motor Shaft Over 20mm ): 3D printers use different motor parts on their series printers even on same model, please check carefully if the motor shaft height is over 20mm, so it will have enough lenght to install the drive gear of this extruder. After installation, suggest to change the E-steps from 100 to 139.

  • Perfect on Ender 3 V2 Neo
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Blue
The media could not be loaded. It's basically the same as the red one on my older V2 w/ DD conversion, but...it's blue. No instructions but easy install; if you need a hand search "Ender 3 Dual Gear Extruder Installation" on YouTube. The only thing I forgot was to change the gear on the pole from the extruder motor to the smaller diameter gear that came with the new extruder, but it was an easy backtrack. Incredibly reliable and high quality parts - came with extra springs for different applications, as well as all the expected hex wrenches needed for the quick job. Just bought another one for another printer - great value. ... show more

  • This is the replacement extruder you want on your Ender
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Red
I've been running a 3D printing business for years now. I've gone through countless extruders. I've finally found one that I expect will last and work well. First its dual gear, second it has washers under the gear between the gear and the arm, Third it has a proper unthreaded shaft for that gear's bearing to ride on. Fourth it came with everything needed to mount it to the extruder stepper motor. Fifth, the gear that mounts to the extruder stepper motor was snug on the shaft, was well and properly hobbed to grip the filament and the other gear, and it had a good set screw in it. (I've had issues with many others that missed of these 5 important details). Six, they took the time to shrink wrap all the pertinent pieces into a package that shows a newbie where everything important goes. Get this one, take the time to read the instructions and listing here. Be sure to lube the bearings, and understand how to tune your E-steps and you will not be disappointed. ... show more

  • Works very well
Style: CR10-Extruder-Right
Works pretty well. Rigid filaments will print much faster with the dual gears, but like most extruders, you'll need to slow it down a lot for flexible filaments, but no more than any other extruder. This just barely fits the stock extruder motor on an ender 3, if you can get the stock gear off, that is. I bought two for dual extrusion and I plan to buy three more eventually. ... show more

  • It works. Would recommend.
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Red
I have this on my Ender 5 Plus, converted to direct drive. With the stock Marlin i had the E steps at 140ish. With the Sonic Pad running klipper I'm at 22mm for the extruder setting, and think that might still be a little under extruding. This thing will push filament with a lot of force. Switching to this with direct drive (and changing retraction to 5mm) eliminated almost all stringing. I have much more consistent print quality as well. The Bowden setup was a terrible idea. I can understand trying to keep the print head weight down, but print quality was sub-par. Now I'm getting good quality prints and still can get 150mm/s print speed, with 300mm travel. Sure, there is some machine shaking but the prints still come out nice. I definitely recommend this, but remember: you need a long shaft extruder motor. ... show more

  • You can make it work
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Blue
The media could not be loaded. So its a very cheap dual gear extruder, you will need a stronger spring to avoid skipping but it is very light. The fee whole is nicely rounded so it doesn't damage the material but you can tell by looking believe the gears that the second whole is really rough on the filament shaving it as it feeds (using a drill and tapper on it before assembly can help with this). Additionally the aluminum wears quickly if you use abraisive filaments like high heat or glow in the dark of example that will wear it out quickly but it does have steel screw shrouds to prevent the turning parts from wearing. Over all it can be make to print like much better extruders with a little effort but it will have a much shorter life in comparison but sometimes you just need that get you through until the good one arrives part and this does the job. ... show more

  • High Quality and Cost Effective Upgrade
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Blue
Great extruder with many options. It fits the Ender3 V2 perfectly, and extrudes like a dream. Was able to fix extruding issues immediately. Top quality machining and beautiful finish. Will upgrade if it eats itself alive.

  • Absolutely sucks!
Style: CR10-Extruder-Right
I have been through THREE of these. All three were sent back. Dual gears seem to be worse than single gear extrudors. It may lay 2 to 3 layers down then it stops gripping the filament. This dual gear extrudor has cost me at least 2 full rolls of filament from starting and stopping over and over again. Back to single gear!! ... show more

  • Prefer it over Creality's official metal extruder
Style: Upgrade CR10S PRO Extruder Blue
I got Creality's official metal extruder for the Ender-3 Pro before this one and it was a huge pain. I don't know if it's a quality control issue or what but the arm wouldn't quite assemble correctly, the included spring kept it at basically absolute maximum possible tension at all times which wasn't helpful, etc. This extruder was a night and day improvement, I'll be using a dual gear one from now on. I will say, mine didn't come with any instructions at all. It wasn't an issue to assemble and there's plenty of videos on YouTube for this type of extruder but I'm surprised they included absolutely nothing. ... show more
