The quilted cover adds a nice softness to the mattress and it fits a standard sized crib mattress perfectly. Very snug and no creases. At first look I was concerned the the cover would be too crinkly and noisy for a crib. This is a decent matress cover. I use this under a regular sheet for mini crib, it also fits pack and play but is not as snug around it which can be a hazard. It is soft, pretty, and the waterproof feature does work pretty well. It is easily washed in the washer though
