  • Instructions okay
Color: Grey
The instructions could be better especially the adjustment of the brakes. Really struggling with that part. But we somehow figured it out. Other than that it is good combo of walker and wheelchair. I use it for malls and bigger events.

  • The brake handles are easy to squeeze
Color: Purple
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: My dad is getting older and has been struggling with balance issues. He needed something that could work as both a walker and a wheelchair when he gets tired. This looked like it might be a good solution for him. Likes: * The height adjustment is excellent. Both the handles and seat can be adjusted independently. I set the handles at about 38 inches and the seat around 22 inches for my dad and it fits him perfectly. * The seat is really wide and comfortable. It's about 16 inches across which gives him plenty of room to sit down without feeling cramped. The backrest provides good support for his lower back. * The dual brake system is crazy good. You can use the brakes to slow down or lock them completely when he sits down. The brake handles are easy to squeeze even with arthritis. * I had it put together in maybe 10 minutes with no tools. The instructions were clear and all the parts snapped together without forcing anything. * The storage bag is huge and holds all his stuff when we go out. There's also a cup holder built into the frame which he uses constantly. No likes: * It's heavy when you're lifting it in and out of the car. * The wheels are kind of small and don't roll great on carpet or rough pavement. They work fine on smooth surfaces but anything textured slows it down. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: My dad can walk with it when he feels steady and sit down when he gets tired. The purple color is pretty snazzy and he likes that it doesn't look too medical. ... show more

  • A tad bulky and heavy but overall good deal and sturdy rollator wheelchair combo A tad bulky and heavy but overall good deal and sturdy rollator wheelchair combo
Color: Purple
I got this rollator transport chair combo for my mom. Its basically simultaneously always a rolling walker and a wheelchair. The wheels are big and do fantastic on outdoor terrains when she is using it as a rollator. On other hand in wheelchair mode it is definitely harder to push her over rough terrain like uneven grassy mounds or bumpy inclines compared to a normal wheelchair. It still works though and it is perfect for when she has the energy to walk herself but gives us the option to push her when it is more convenient. We got it in the purple lavender color and I love it because it really stands out at her adult day care so its easier to find. The seat is large and comfy for her and the storage space is more than enough for her biggest purse. I always thought these things could benefit from a cup holder but I digress. There is a cane and umbrella holder and it does have a seatbelt for wheelchair mode. Putting it together took me about 20 minutes and it was pretty easy but I suggest watching the video on the product page because the wheel placement got a little confusing. The height adjustments use standard pin locks so you'll probably only want to set the height once and leave it. This thing is big and bulky compared to basic walkers so I would not call it lightweight. I found it pretty heavy to hoist into the backseat of my Prius hatchback and it will not fit in my trunk unless I fold the seats down. It collapses down enough to fit across the back seats though. We actually ended up removing the footrests since mom mostly uses it to walk and they don't help with portability. It is a proper 2-in-1 combo but the tradeoff for that versatility is that it stays heavy and bulky even when folded. Overall I think the weight and bulk is expected for a rollator wheelchair combo and I think the price is really good for that combo ... show more

  • Sturdy, well made, comfortable handles, tires move easily, adjustable height, pretty purple Sturdy, well made, comfortable handles, tires move easily, adjustable height, pretty purple
Color: Purple
When I opened the box for this rollator walker and laid out all the parts, I noticed that there was no bag of screws or tools, and this concerned me. But it turned out that a lot of the pieces just fit into poles, where a marble pops up and locks it in place. I’m a little surprised, though, that the webpage states no tools required. That’s true for most of assembly but not all of it. There are a couple spots where the screw is already in the part and has to be removed before you can proceed with the next step, and then needs to be screwed back in again. I couldn’t do this with my fingers, for goodness sakes, and even if I could, I wouldn’t trust it. These required an L wrench and a regular wrench, and actually also needed both tools of a different size for brake adjustment toward the end of assembly. Fortunately, I save all the tools that come with everything I have put together myself, but I had to sort through dozens of pieces to find the right sizes. The only other issue I had with assembly was that the brake on one of the back tires was rubbing against the tire, so it would hardly move, but the instructions did tell me what to do if that happened. In the end, this is a very nice walker, seems sturdy and well made, comfortable enough seat and of a good width, and very comfortable to hold handles. It has adjustable height and folds up, though not as big a difference folded as I was hoping for (still pretty bulky). The tires move very easily and smoothly. I would recommend this walker. It is well worth the listed price. ... show more

  • Worth every penny, this Rollator Walker really performs! Worth every penny, this Rollator Walker really performs!
Color: Purple
This was very easy to put together. The instructions were clear, and I appreciated that no special tools were needed. Everything fit together the way it should, and the parts felt sturdy right out of the box. It folds smoothly for transport, and it is light enough that I can lift it into a vehicle without struggling. Once it is folded, it stays compact and does not fight you when you open it again. The wheels spin very well, which makes a big difference when you are pushing it with someone sitting in the seat. Even with a larger person riding, it moves easily and does not feel heavy or hard to control. The brakes are simple to operate and hold securely when locked. The height adjustments are helpful because you can set both the handles and the seat to the right level for comfort. The seat is wide and comfortable, and the backrest gives good support. The material wipes clean easily, and the seams are neatly sewn with no loose threads. The aluminum frame feels strong but not bulky, and the overall construction is solid. I always check the inside stitching and joints, and everything is finished well. The storage bag is a nice size for carrying personal items, and the cup holder and cane holder are thoughtful additions. It is convenient to have everything in one place when you are out and about. Overall, this is a well-designed rollator that is easy to assemble, easy to fold, and easy to push. The wheels glide smoothly, the seat is comfortable, and the construction is sturdy. It is a very practical choice for anyone who needs support while walking or wants the option to sit and rest comfortably. ... show more

  • Extremely dangerous! 3 bad injuries to 2 different people! XL size
Color: Purple
This Ablecare Updated Rollator Walker for Seniors with Seat, 2 in 1 Wheelchair Combo, is really dangerous. I was so looking forward to it - but I got hurt on this twice. I then asked an able-bodied friend to try it, in case I was doing something wrong. And he immediately got hurt on it also! It firstly is an XL size, and should say so. It is massive. For a small adult, this feels like a toddler sitting in a giant's seat. It is heavy, too large to easily maneuver around, and even at the shortest setting, too tall. It is at the shortest rung, so high that my feet dangle inches from the floor. The walker portion, is so wide that it started to tear my shoulder joints, because it is way too wide for me to put weight down - like doing a very awkward pushup, in mid-air with no support. Only for someone with very wide shoulders. The wheelchair portion is not functional at all. There is no standard large wheel, and so as soon as you go to get up out of the wheelchair, the whole thing flips over. I ended up on the floor, with a huge bruise, and the wheelchair on top of me - twice! I also could not get my feet into the foot rests, as they were way too far away for an average height woman. My heels ended several inches before I could reach the foot rests. I disassembled the wheelchair portion, made the walker portion as small as possible, and yet still, although better, it is way too bit a device to use. I appreciate the heavy metal. But the design of this is faulty and dangerous, and it needs to be labeled as for tall and wide/XL persons. A 6'2" person who is 300lbs might do great with this - if they can avoid getting out of the wheelchair version of it ever. But a person less than half that size is just going to end up falling out of it, and getting hurt. It is not the level of quality that I’d hoped for. It seems somewhat sturdy, durable, but not functional. This is very difficult to use, somewhat easy to assemble, but not versatile, and too large a size for an average rollator. The color is ok, but it's not a good value for the price. I would shop around first, as this was expensive for what it was, compared to others that are known brands in the US, that are far safer to use. ... show more

  • Does not work well in wheelchair mode
Color: Purple
This ruler is very heavy duty with a large seat and the lavender color is very attractive. it may work well as a rollator but it does not work well as a wheelchair due to the design of the wheel support in One direction. it fully supports pushing in wheelchair mode but when the 360 Wheels turn that support is no longer there and the chair is subject to tipping. ... show more
