  • Good quality, great price
Color: Purple
This thing has been a blessing while recovering from a broken ankle. Cushion has deteriorated a little after two months of daily use but overall this is a solid knee scooter for the price, the breaks and front basket make daily movement much easier.

  • Great quality and easy assembly!
Color: Purple
This has been a life saver for me. I'm just coming off a freshly healed break in my arm when I broke my ankle. Crutches were a no go so I ordered this knee scooter. My teenage daughter put it together and had it ready for me when I got discharged from the hospital. It's light weight and easy to maneuver. I'm 5 foot 3 inches and weigh 250lbs and it works great for my size. ... show more

  • Decent, worth the money
Color: Purple
For the money that was paid, it's a decent scooter. However, the little bag does not actually snap on so it comes off real easy. Assembly was not hard, the pictures could have been better on a couple of sections but overall decent assembly. The spring assembly on the back wheels to the knee seating area squeaks all the time. Don't mess with the brakes on the handles because the little cylinders that are up there to help you tighten or loosen the brake candles a little are very cheap made and they strip very easily. You might want to zip tie for the break assembly that comes up to the handles because that wire gets in the way on the bag all the time and ends up causing problems trying to lock the brakes so you might want to zip tie it to the handlebar shaft. For less than a hundred bucks, you get what you pay for but a few little things could have been done like making sure the bag snaps into place. The little bag is great to have and it has a couple little pockets on each side to help with like maybe having your phone or a wallet tucked in there. The scooter is not the easiest thing to drive around so to speak but it is manageable and feasible so mobility is not a horrible thing. It takes a while to get used to. It does not collapse down for storage or for easy transport but it does the job. ... show more

  • Good Scooter with Flaws
The Knee Scooter is great for its intended purpose as I have a broken right ankle. This BlessResearch scooter was easy to assemble and has a carry bag attached to the front which has come in handy several times so far. In the very beginning, I had the bag come off when lifting an item out of it. It fits by putting it's two buttons in a slot that slides down but nothing to hold it in place from sliding back up. So after attaching the bag to its mound I added two bolts, washers, and nuts mounted just above the bag's buttons into the bracket. Now the bag stays in place. Another problem is the brakes. Two brake handles are connected to make a single cable routing down the front and under the scooter to the back wheels. The cable at the back is routed through a vertical painted metal piece welded under the shock frame. The cable is then attached to the double wing brake attachment that when applied puts pressure on both wheels to hold them from turning. Two problems arose over the first 5 weeks I have had to use this unit. First I have had two adjust the brake cables for more pressure onto the wheels. The wheels being plastic do not grip brake attachment very well and can still turn. So, more pressure has to be applied at the handles. What then happens is the metal piece that the cable is routed to that is welded is weak and now is bent towards the double wing brake attachment. Because it is bent towards the rear it makes the brakes less affective. I can bend the bracket back to vertical but that is just going to weaken the metal even more. It needs to be of heavier metal or braced properly to keep from bending under braking pressure. And the wheel need to be of rubber and not plastic. The left side rear wheel is slightly higher the right side rear wheel. With the scooter sitting level, the left wheel can spin freely and the right wheel stay stopped. This also affects the stopping as described above with brakes applied in a locked position. ... show more

  • Useful and affordable
Color: Purple
Useful. Padding seems adequate for short term uses. Your knee and thigh will get more tired before feeling if the cushion is soft enough..used it for short trips to grocery stores. Easy to roll on smooth surfaces. On asphalt, if rough, just hold on to handlebars. Brakes work. Basket is very handy. None of the bolts are or became loose while using it. You can also sit on it and roll with you bad foot up on wheel bar and use your good foot to scoot along. ... show more

  • Cheap things end up being expensive.
Color: Purple
All the metal makes noise when it moves, a creaking sound as it advances, the brakes are unstable, and the left wheel is not level with the right one, as it rotates on its own axis even when stationary.
