This is a perfect buy. It took me 20 minutes to build. All parts in perfect condition. Seat is comfortable, turn radius is really good. Smooth rolling. I felt safe using it and sturdy design. I have horrible crutches and this is just wonderful and the price is good for this product. I have no complaints. I put it together using the paper instructions and the video it gives you access to, like I said about 20 minutes to put together. I don't know about the other complaints but I have to no problems with it. I do recommend it for anyone that don't want to use the torturous crutches. I'm a nurse so I use this every everyday and get around great with it , it's fast too. I'm 160 pounds and holds up sturdy and my husband tried it too and he weighs 300 pounds. I am so thankful for this while healing from a fractured foot. It’s giving me mobility while adhering to Dr no weight bearing orders. I’ll see a handlebars or height adjustable so I was able to make the knee rest lower than the handlebar higher to fit my comfort level: glide very easily over hardwood tile floor a little more challenging on my gravel driveway very easy put together. basket in the front makes it easy to keep my hands-free while using for safety. Very good quality and well worth the cost to eat in my healing and making my limitations more manageable and comfortable.

This Knee Scooter gives me 10X the mobility from crutches...and 100X LESS stress, hassle and Danger of falling. The ONLY reason 4 stars not Five...is that I cannot LOCK the Hand Brakes. I squeeze...push button... it just pops back up. Anybody who's figured this out...reply if possible. Pic shows brake lever almost touching steering handle...my brake lever moves 1 inch at most. But do I want to loosen it? No way. Not yet. ASSEMBLY: My experience only - I bear no responsibility for your assembly. The Front wheels came assembled. No tool provided to check tightness. The instruction pics are too dark...and instructions could be clearer. "to fix it"...you mean to tighten it? Watch video on product on Amazon. Read Directions couple times...watch vid couple times BEFORE Assembly. The Bag won't go on with the brake cable under it...Duh...I thought it did. cable to side of steering column. I will be tightening and checking all assembly screws knobs etc. frequently...especially the front axle connection. I am riding this as if I cannot DEPEND on it...ie...good leg for balance all the time...careful turns. I lowered the knee pad to decrease center of balance...very helpful. I made sure the hex head bolt was seated into the hex hole - ie...you cannot turn it. Best tightness. Product and Usage: A Blessing! pun intended. I had 4.5 days on crutches...I'm 69...and it was a nightmare. My knee scooter is a solid quality product. I kinda "unweigh" or pick up front a bit over cables, throw rugs...etc. to make ride smoother. I like the bag...I Like the Single FRAME (one I saw was 2 pieces...yikes assembly). The Brakes work well except for locking...steering and maneuverability is great...and kneepad is comfortable but I take frequent breaks from it. I don't feel it is a tipping hazard...if I keep the good leg as an outrigger and keep the ride slow and methodical. I no longer DREAD the next "Trip" on Crutches to the bathroom, kitchen, door..etc. I just put my knee on the pad and Go. This Will ensure I DO NOT BEAR WEIGHT ON MY FOOT INJURY while it heals. Last TIP: ALWAYS wear a SHOE on your "push" foot...or you WILL run over your toe when/if you back up. 4.5 stars. How the heck do you lock the brakes? Not gonna mess with factory adjustments as of now. Also...I bought an Electric Mobility Scooter - like a "Rascal" to supplement this knee Scooter. I live alone...and I'm laid up for MONTHS. The Knee Scooter is great for its intended purpose as I have a broken right ankle. This BlessResearch scooter was easy to assemble and has a carry bag attached to the front which has come in handy several times so far. In the very beginning, I had the bag come off when lifting an item out of it. It fits by putting it's two buttons in a slot that slides down but nothing to hold it in place from sliding back up. So after attaching the bag to its mound I added two bolts, washers, and nuts mounted just above the bag's buttons into the bracket. Now the bag stays in place. Another problem is the brakes. Two brake handles are connected to make a single cable routing down the front and under the scooter to the back wheels. The cable at the back is routed through a vertical painted metal piece welded under the shock frame. The cable is then attached to the double wing brake attachment that when applied puts pressure on both wheels to hold them from turning. Two problems arose over the first 5 weeks I have had to use this unit. First I have had two adjust the brake cables for more pressure onto the wheels. The wheels being plastic do not grip brake attachment very well and can still turn. So, more pressure has to be applied at the handles. What then happens is the metal piece that the cable is routed to that is welded is weak and now is bent towards the double wing brake attachment. Because it is bent towards the rear it makes the brakes less affective. I can bend the bracket back to vertical but that is just going to weaken the metal even more. It needs to be of heavier metal or braced properly to keep from bending under braking pressure. And the wheel need to be of rubber and not plastic. The left side rear wheel is slightly higher the right side rear wheel. With the scooter sitting level, the left wheel can spin freely and the right wheel stay stopped. This also affects the stopping as described above with brakes applied in a locked position.

Bought for a friend that ended up not being able to use it due to where her ankle break was. What I can tell you is it was easy to assemble and looked like it would be a good piece of equipment. Folded down easier than I expected.

I purchased based on some positive reviews. Unfortunately it was not nearly as good as expected. Assembly is fairly straight forward and simple, the instructions could be better but it was on par with what I expected. After assembly, you just cant get it to feel tightened up. The handle bar is sloppy and there is no way to get it any tighter. This thing is heavy, it is not easy to move for a completely able bodied person, how is someone with limited mobility supposed to pull this heavy brick out of their car!? It has a shock absorber for some unknown reason. This thing will hardly roll in a standard asphalt parking lot. Anything less than perfectly smooth and it doesn't roll so the whole idea of the shock absorber is lost on me. I tried sitting on it just to check the "suspension" and got no movement from the shock. That's 200ish pounds not getting any flex, the weight of 1/4 of your body isn't going to do anything either. The brakes are a joke. They are hard to operate and do little to stop it from rolling. You know what does stop it from rolling? Carpet, carpet is excellent at keeping this thing from moving, even if you want it to. The bag seemed a bit gimmicky but it does work. It has an 11 pound weight limit which I feel is a bit too generous. With the inability to roll on carpet or less than smooth parking lot, combined with 11 pounds in the front bag, you are one little pebble or transition strip away from face planting. The turning radius is a joke. Sure it works decent enough in a store or other large building (assuming you can get it from the car to the building) but around a typical smaller house it is worthless. You need at least 6 feet to turn from a hallway into a room and my halls just aren't that wide. The blue color isn't obnoxious but all the BlessReach logos and stickers are. I understand they want everyone to know what brand it is but if they want me to advertise for them, the cost should be much lower. How easy it is to tip over sideways or overload the front and flip seems to be a bit of a safety concern. You aren't exactly going down the speedway with it but even low walking speed tumbles can hurt. The knee pad is rock hard. It may break in with time but I don't think most people will be using this long enough to make it comfortable. For half the price this would be an amazing deal. It has flaws but in theory this is just a temporary mobility assistance tool. For the price, there are better options. If you need to use something like this long term, find something better quality!
