Install was easy and Im not an electrician. Assembling the light takes about 5 min. Install takes about 15 min. Pretty straight forward when hardwiring to ceiling: ground to ground, black wire to black wire, white wire to white wire. Youtube has some short pretty straight foward videos thatll show you how to get it hard wired easily. Besides the install the light itself is elegant and completely changed the way the room looks. It's a beautiful light fixture at a great price. However, if you have a slanted ceiling, it takes some rigging to hang despite the included adapter.
