The problem with most Garmin suction cup mounts is that they just don't last. Now, of course there's no way I can know that this one will do any better...; but it's footprint is larger and it makes a strong stable mount for my GPS. Time will tell.

Works as it should - at first...Over time the suction cup doesn't work as well, and once it come off window, the odds are pretty good it will never stay attached more than a few days after that. The mount itself seems sturdy enough to do the job. But it fell off my windshield twice in the first two day of using it. The suction cup tore which is unacceptable. It’s junk. Don’t buy it.
