  • Not worth buying
Unfortunately, This coop Uses very thin wood that splinters and cracks easily. My box did not come with all the necessary hardware. The door broke within weeks and after only one month of use, the top broke off as well. Definitely not worth the buy.

  • Thin wood
The only study piece of this coop is the roof. The rest is so thin you have to be careful putting it together. I cracked a. Couple pieces just putting in screws.

  • Cheaply made falling apart after 3 weeks
I got this house for my ducks and have only had it for 3 weeks and the roof is already bubbling and crumbling. And the wood isn’t treated so the door is warped from the rain and the floor inside is warping aswell. Disappointed, had high hopes. Good temporary shelter till I make one but not worth the money ... show more

  • It’s not bad for the price just pray the shippers don’t drop the box
So all in all it’s a good coop for the price. Fortunately for me I only had minor damages to the product see photos. The only part I should probably ask for a replacement was the small roof edge piece was split off. I’m attempting to glue it back together will attempt tomorrow to put it back on. The staples they use to hold most of the wood together is not really strong enough where as when the box gets dropped the staples break. I used a screw to put the main side back together and had to re staple some of the roof Underside braces back on. With most kits the more you spend the higher quality staples and build you will get. For the most part for a first coop it could probably house 6-8 hens if you free range them and just use it as a coop. 2-4 hens if it is caged off. Also while building the two longer bolts go in the middle of the side where the lay box attaches. It’s not clear until you try to screw the sides in then you see where it goes. And it should be painted or stained as the bare wood will take on rot fast, and with those “high quality staples” it will fall apart after the first season ... show more

  • Missing parts. Weather just now good enough to put together. Not worth the money
Missing parts. Weather just now good enough to put together. Not worth the money. Splits in the prefabricated. VERY disappointed for what I paid for it.

  • Cheap but nice
You get what you pay for. Be prepared to do a little extra work. Some of the bracing pieces had been knocked off (I'm assuming during the packaging of it). It was nothing a couple of brad nails couldnt fix though. Very easy to assemble. Im going to paint it and see how long it holds up. Only reason I gave 3 stars was because of the little extra work. ... show more
