Perfect for shade and keeping the sun off your face! Putting it together was fairly straightforward. Just make sure you read the directions and watch the instructional video that they posted on Amazon. I do recommend two people. I did it by myself as a smaller woman, but it is heavy so when lifting to put on top of the zero turn, it was a challenge. Customer support with this company was great too! The reason why this thing is heavy is because it is strong. This isn’t just keeping the sun off your neck, it’s smashing low hanging tree limbs and cares less than a honey badger about it. This a very well made and solid cover that is definitely worth the price. Relatively easy to assemble but heavy. If you want a heavy duty canopy that will last, I definitely recommend. Will probably buy another for my other equipment.

Very well made mower canopy with top notch hardware. And it shipped same day as ordered! I got this 48 hours after ordering it with free shipping...Wow!!. It's heavy so a bit challenging to install by yourself, but very high quality and I think an excellent value for the money. I'm glad I didn't go for the plastic or fiberglass ones. Somehow though UPS tried their best to destroy it. 2 dents on the leading edge, 1 on the trailing edge, and a ding from a sharp object that chipped the paint and nearly penetrated it. This shade worked perfectly for my John Deere zero turn mower. I am very happy with it. It does require two people to assemble and put together on your mower. It is made of heavy metal and it is not light or cheap. The instructions are not really clear on how to put it together. It is just drawings of assembling the shade. But thankfully, we are Farmers and my husband is a pretty good mechanic, so we figured it out. Also, the video that was made to show you how to put this together does not tell you that they’re turning frontwards and then backwards with the camera and back-and-forth so it looks like you’re going to put the pieces together actually backwards by watching the video. I Love this canopy, I live in Florida and the heat is brutal in the summer. This canopy is excellent quality ( I used it all summer of 2025) , very durable, no rust so far and has made all the difference in mowing my 5 acre property. Also, we had an issue because the box was damaged in transit and the hardware was missing when it arrived, I contacted customer service and they sent out new hardware immediately, they also kept an open line of communication throughout the process which I appreciated very much. Living in South Mississippi where yesterday the heat index was a 108 with 61% humidity this is something I needed to add a long time ago. I was reluctant to add this to my Scag Tiger Cat based on seeing others with plastic tops torn up from hitting limbs. I’m sure I’ll add my share of dings along the way but the hard top will perform far better than those homemade trashy looking tops that are barely hanging on after hitting their first limb. ... show more
