I Love this canopy, I live in Florida and the heat is brutal in the summer. This canopy is excellent quality ( I used it all summer of 2025) , very durable, no rust so far and has made all the difference in mowing my 5 acre property. Also, we had an issue because the box was damaged in transit and the hardware was missing when it arrived, I contacted customer service and they sent out new hardware immediately, they also kept an open line of communication throughout the process which I appreciated very much. I highly recommend this product from a quality and customer service standpoint.

This top fits the JD Z515e, the only problem for me was the excessive front down angle. It works good if it is what you like but I thought it too steep. My solution was simple and now it still has a downward slope, just not as bad and can be adjusted to a more down slope as per your liking. What i did was install as per instructions (by myself) using a chair to help hold the top so I could bolt it together. Once it was all together the down slope of the top is excessive because the ROPS leans forward. To fix this problem I tightened the adjustment bolts snug and removed the pivot bolts. Then I picked up on the front with my back, which forced the pivot bolt holes to move towards the top as the top came down in the back. Once the top was as far as it would go I tightened the adjustment bolts, then drilled through the existing pivot holes. Reinserted the bolts and tightened them down. Now the top has about a 15° downward slope, which can be adjusted downward if needed.

This shade worked perfectly for my John Deere zero turn mower. I am very happy with it. It does require two people to assemble and put together on your mower. It is made of heavy metal and it is not light or cheap. The instructions are not really clear on how to put it together. It is just drawings of assembling the shade. But thankfully, we are Farmers and my husband is a pretty good mechanic, so we figured it out. Also, the video that was made to show you how to put this together does not tell you that they’re turning frontwards and then backwards with the camera and back-and-forth so it looks like you’re going to put the pieces together actually backwards by watching the video. But all in all, very happy!!!

I purchased the canopy for my Kubota Z422 zero turn. Canopy was shipped through UPS and arrived partially opened. Inspected and found minor damage in which I contacted the seller direct. They discounted the unit after I sent pics of damage. The canopy is beyond expectations and very well constructed with easy mounting instructions with video. Damage was caused by UPS, not the seller/ vendor. They were very easy to reach out by phone and very accommodating. I would definitely buy again and will the the fan unit separate in the future. I highly recommend this canopy, paint matched perfectly to Kubota orange 👍.

I have been through two “plastic” tops for my zero turn mower. They both got eaten up by tree branches. This top is made to last forever. It is well made, easy to install and looks great. I could not be happier with my purchase. The old statement is true, you get what you pay for.
