    • Great, but not perfect.
This is an edited review. My first review was 1 star because the metal plate that mounts to the TV had no screw holes in it. I had to go through the hassle of a return because someone, somewhere messed up on quality control. So, be warned. Check every part to make sure they are properly manufactured before you start assembling. The big plate that mounts to the TV should have 4 screw holes. Now that I have a full working product, here is the review. It's really a nice stand. I feel completely comfortable mounting a very expensive TV on it. The glass is nice, and provides good mass for the base. The feet are not as tall I thought they would be, which is nice. Assembly was just okay, as you can read below. I am deducting1 star for the following: - Quality control issue on the first one. Wasted of about an hour of my time, which is valued at well over the price of the stand. - The washers. My LG OLED C2 used the 6MM screws. The washers provided were either way too big (meant for the larger screws), or just a tad too small. I wasn't comfortable using the larger washers. I filed the smaller washers to make them fit the screws. It took about 10 minutes. - The mini screwdriver provided is not large enough to effectively tighten the provided screws. I have plenty of screwdrivers, so it wasn't an issue for me, but it might be for someone else. - The instructions need a bit of improvement. There are no suggestions on how much to tighten the screws that mount the main support to the glass. Most of us are not familiar with bolting through glass. Some guidance would be helpful. As you can see, a few small issues, none of which impact the stand once assembled. With better quality control, slightly better hardware/tools, and a little bit of improvement on the instructions, this would be a 5-star product. I would also like to see a safety tether, which is included in most other similar stands sold on Amazon. I hope this review was helpful! ... show more

Great stand for the price. Nice and sturdy, lots of adjustment to get your screen right where you want it and it looks sharp! The only slight criticism is that I would like to see a little more heft to the little "safety clips" that lock the tv mount rails onto the stand. They are easily bent with minimal pressure, but it's more of a small annoyance than cause for taking away any stars from what is all-in-all a fantastic stand overall. ... show more

The only problem with assembly is the directions. If the description or picture of several parts were either more detailed or clearer, assembly would have been quicker. All predrilled holes were correct and all parts were provided for assembly. Mounted a 55" Samsung TV (10 years old) with out any problem. Easy to level and two locking pieces keep tv secured and prevents it from tilting after being mounted on stand. ... show more

    • 65” fits and it works
Maybe all universal mounts are like this, but the way it work is gravity, there is no “locking” mechanism. It slides down onto the base and then because of gravity it stays. However I would prefer something that locks into place. I used on a 65” Samsung older plasma screen, so it’s heavy and it does fit, but I think anything over 65” would be more than this mount could handle because of the dimensions. ... show more

Comes together pretty easily, and very easy to maneuver. It's also high quality. My one gripe is that it doesn't sit perfectly even, but that's most likely user error.

I like it's style!! It really look nice..Almost a little to short for my Panasonic 50" Plasma but it made it within a 1/2 inch!! It took all the adjustments but it made it!! It is sturdy andwell hidden behind the set..looks like it belongs back there..I would recommend it but do some math before you order..You might come really close to the base if your 50" is a bit bigger from the bottom..otherwise it is what the Doctor ordered!! ... show more
