After I ordered this item I realized I didn’t read the reviews first and when I went back and did I was disappointed to see that everyone was saying there was a horrible permanent warning sticker on the top of the tv stand. I waited for the item to arrive and when it did I was very happy to see that they no longer put the sticker on the top of the stand but on the inside of the cabinet door instead! I purchased the tv stand, end table and coffee table. They look perfect in my space and are extremely sturdy/heavy. This looks perfect in my living room. The tv stand is extremely sturdy and the box was heavy. I had to wait for the hubby to get home, to get it in the house. It took me about 3 hours to put this together. Opening the box, it seemed a little overwhelming but I just took my time. I did struggle a bit when putting the doors on. I suggest you take it slow, loosen both screws and play around with it until you are happy. The warning stickers have been placed in areas that can’t be seen once it’s all together. Quality isn’t the best. The gray color is actually more like a thin layer of gray paper applied to the wood composite, not a thick veneer or laminate. It flakes easily if scratched and some of the pieces came in with the gray paper peeling away. I am so in love with this entertainment center! I wanted to wait a few months before writing a review to make sure I truly loved it and I definitely do! So I wanted some nicer furniture for our place and it is just as I imagined. I also bought the entryway table to match it and I'm in love with that too! It is so sturdy and there have been so many accidents that should have scratched or cracked the surface but nothing! For example, my 1 year old son loves to play with the painted rocks I have on the entertainment center (yes, they are real rocks you can find outside and they are heavy) and before I can stop him he'll knock it over or throw it pretty hard onto it and still nothing! I plan on getting two of the book shelves to go on each side of the entertainment center and the coffee table in the near future. ... show more

My wife and I absolutely love this t.v. stand, we looked all over at many stores and websites we were extremely worried about the material and wether it would be sturdy or flimsy. We went to Walmart they were all very flimsy and cheaply made. Target was about the same except expensive. Pros: Very sturdy, pretty high, lots of storage space, and what appears to be quality materials. CONS: no holes in the back board piece to route cords through, one of the screws we got was not able to be used because the head did not have the grooves to screw it in, and they’re are no extra hardware. ... show more

Terrible quality. Pretty is the paint wasn’t chipped. AmAzon was also not easy to deal with. I spent hours putting it together to find my self didn’t fit so I can’t put anything of any kind of weight on it. The doors in the front don’t line up and close right. 2. Places where paint is chipped. Way to much money for the crap wood and the uneasiness of putting together. I got it because of the look, I wish I had gone a different route in my decor just to avoid the POS tv stand. The end tables however, are great! ... show more
