I bought a toilet-replacement kit from home depot because the flushing mechanism on my toilet needed replaced. I used the bolts that came with that kit, but they were very hard to work with and had a slow leak after the installation. I purchased these bolts and they slipped right in, were easy to tighten with the wing-nuts, and have not leaked one bit. I like the fact the gasket part is tapered (unlike the home depot kit). After two weeks of exploration, and trials-and-errors, this collection of two gaskets and four screw sets was all that I needed to reinstall my leaky toilet tank. My tank needed only three screws, so I scavenged two metal washers off of the extra screw set in the collection I received (plus one of my own) to insert between the screw heads and the cone washers that allowed me to better tighten the screws. I am grateful to the company for such a great product, the extra screw, and the very reasonable price. Misled by its appearance, I foolishly gave it 5 stars right after installing it. I am now taking 4 stars off after watching it oxidize in the water tank and mess up inside of the toilet bowl: it leaves an orangish red residue inside the bowl, which is unrelenting and difficult to clean. ... show more
