I installed this 3 months ago now and I had to use small 1/4" screws to hold this weatherstripping in place. The adhesive isn't enough for much more than holding it in place long enough to fasten it with screws. I began with about 6 screws along the withd of a 2-car garage and it started sagging within a month. So I now have screws every 12 inches, which are discreet and they keep it in place perfectly. I still gave this 5 stars because it does the intended job of keeping out dirt and leaves with an uneven garage floor.

I purchased this weather seal to help close gaps around my garage door and improve sealing against dust, drafts, and weather. The material feels like a good balance between flexibility and durability. It was easy to work with during installation, and the rubber remained pliable enough to conform to uneven surfaces without feeling flimsy. After installation, it provided a good seal and appears sturdy enough to withstand regular use and weather exposure. I used it on the sides of my garage door rather than as a traditional threshold seal, and it performed well in that application. Pros: Flexible and easy to work with Durable-feeling material Provides a good seal Suitable for a variety of garage weatherproofing applications Cons: None so far Bottom line: A good-quality rubber weather seal that was easy to install and provided an effective seal on my garage door. The material feels both flexible and durable, which is exactly what I was looking for.

Very easy to install and appears to have a good adhesive. I’m only giving four stars until I see whether it’s able to keep the rain out of the garage or if I have to add another foam insulation strip to the bottom of the garage door. I will amend my review once I see whether the adhesive holds and whether it’s effective in keeping the water out. UPDATE… it did keep the rain water out of the garage, but the adhesive showed itself to be not Long lasting, primarily on larger doors (2 car garages). Even though I cleaned the metal strip that the adhesive adhered to, it did not hold more than a few days and I had to use gorilla glue and clamping or pressure in order for the strip to stay adhered to the bottom of the door. Since I had additional pieces, I attempted to place them on another garage door at a different location. Again, after cleaning and initial good adhesion, the entire strip fell off, and we are now working on gluing with stronger adhesive and clamping. We did not want to have to screw in the weatherstripping although screws were provided. We had hoped the adhesive would last much longer than just a few days, and be more adherent. Overall, while the weatherstripping is good, the adhesive is not long lasting. Unless you have the tools to screw the weatherstripping in, be prepared to use a stronger Adhesive, either at the time of installation or within days after.

Tricky to put on- it took 2 people to hold in place while installing. We were replacing our original seal and it seems that the glue strip is on the wrong side compared to what was originally installed. So we ended up using a staple gun to attach it in place and didn’t use the adhesive strip.

This garage door threshold seal is great quality. The garage door seal is well made, is water resistant and is durable. The material has a nice weight to it and is a nice color. It's was easy to install and was a good value for the money.
