The unit works very well. It works with older garage and gate openers via DIP switches as well all modern openers. Programming is fairly straightforward once you understand the unit. All the information is in the instructions, and yes, I did read them. If you don't read instructions, don't buy this remote. I was able to program 2 garage door openers and one old-style gate opener on the one remote. I bought two more and programmed them in minutes. The unit is powerful, again, when you understand the steps to program it. For the money, this is one of the best remotes I have tried. I also bought their keypad remote and am happy with it. This was a smooth, seamless job. I was not sure it was going to work although it said it would on all Wayne Dalton's from 1996 to present. Mine were built in 2009. I got it this morning 03/21/2024. Started on it about 10 AM and by 11:15, I was putting the tools away.The instructions were easy to follow--I read them three times just to make sure I was doing it correctly. Mine have rolling codes so a little different, but I figured it out quickly. Followed all the steps for two garage doors and a temp code for the FedEx/UPS guy and everything worked on the first try. Been several years since my WD remote died and never got around to replacing it. Shame on me! Highly recommend this product. ... show more
