I was saving this for Christmas but my 2 1/2 year-old son found it before it could get to December so we did it on a random Saturday afternoon. It was honestly pretty fun, but only took about 15 minutes. I love that the clay wasn’t sticky or messy. It was very easy to shape and add all the accessories. Some of them required me to use the glue provided so it would stick. The clay, while being easy to shape, kept slouching after we were done. My tall snowman became very blobby looking, even when I tried to dry it while propped against something. Overall, this was a good Christmas activity, even for toddlers. My son had a lot of fun making his snowman. I just wish it was a longer activity or came with more clay. There was enough white clay to make about 2 snowmen, with some red and black clay to make one more colorful snowman/monster/alien/etc. ... show more

My kids noticed first that the white clay "feels like marshmallow," which was very exciting. The finished characters are so darn cute. Two things: the white clay is so soft that for the first 45 minutes I had to reposition the figures to be upright every ten minutes as they slowly slumped forward. Also, I don't think it's worth full price. But with a coupon, seriously adorable and I'd say good for 4+ and adults, too. The little stands are a nice touch. It's a very good kit that comes with everything you need I guess the only thing is that it's limited to what you see in the photo If you want, you can get creative making other hats, hands, etc I'm just saying it only comes with enough to make the 3 snowmen you see picutred ... show more
