We installed it easily. It was just a matter of drawing aine to mark where the glue should go. We layed it out in the driveway and let it set while we marked where the garage door would hit just behind the peak. The strip was then cut, placed and trimmed to fit perfectly. We dropped the door and made sure we were acurate. Drawing lines on both sides to give us a guide for the Tough as Nails glue. Once that was down we installed the strip on the glue. Easy peasy for the two of us.

This product feels very sturdy, durable and firm but pliable rubber, and easy to cut to size and install by yourself. As mentioned before an adhesive is definitely required to assist with the weather proofing, make sure the area it will be placed is clean of debris, dirt and dry and use a generous amount of adhesive (I used two tubes for a 16’ length.) Prior to placing your strip align with the bottom of your garage door so it lands behind the hump as instructed, looking forward to less water and debris in my garage!

Easy to follow instructions and installation was straightforward. The material is easy to cut to size. The only hard part to the installation process was putting down the adhesion which you have to buy on your own.

I didn’t use this for a garage door but…. I have a shed on a concrete slab where the slab is a little larger than the shed. When it rains water leaks under the double doors into the shed, which is obviously unwanted. I cut a piece and placed it like like a garage door where the double doors would close meeting the strip. So far through quite a few heavy storms this has blocked out the water.

Used liquid nails for glue. Easy install just make sure it’s in the correct position before applying glue,you only get one go at it. Has not moved, garage dry.
