Update: the sizing and fit on these are just way off for me. I sized down to a 5.5 and it was still big; with the heel slipping off as I walked. The wife calf version is also not for me- too roomy. The packaging was lovely, and I knew something special was inside. These boots are absolutely beautiful! The suede is buttery soft, and the heel takes these to a higher level. I ordered a 9.5 WC to wear with socks (usually a 9), and they fit perfectly. The price is much cheaper than Nordstrom, so buy these if you want a great boot. Unfortunately the Chianti color is more raspberry/burgundy than in the site photo, and I need a bright Christmas red. ... show more

The main issue with boot is that it's fat, too loose around the calves. Otherwise I love the boot so much I'm going to try to work around that. Super soft exquisite suede and heel height is perfect, not too high. Pretty color.
