I popped the batteries in and it worked instantly right out of the packaging - no programming or connecting. The buttons are backlit too. It is a little lighter feel than the OEM one but it seems sturdy enough. I’m going to investigate how to make it work the tv volume but overall, ’m very pleased.

    • Cheaply made remote
Arrived in a cellophane wrapper, no box, no instructions. Several buttons did not light or otherwise function. Extremely light weight and chintzy. I opted to return and not even attempt to replace. It's worth spending a bit more for a quality product.

Worked as advertised with AppleTV and Sony television. Minor issue: one of the LEDs isn’t that bright, but otherwise very good product. Valid point: very light weight, unlike the Apple product. But additional lighted buttons are a huge plus.

I read reviews before about this. Everybody had something negative to say. It takes two AAA batteries. I have four Apple TV boxes one for every TV in the house. It works on everyone! Installation install two AAA batteries make sure you stick them in the right direction put the back back on that’s all you have to do. It works that fast. You don’t have to do nothing except install batteries. Point-and-click works on every TV in take it to every TV in your house that has Apple TV and you have all the buttons one word it fantastic! ... show more

    • Works “OK”.
Works for the AppleTV device but not the TV itself. So there are some buttons that are just for show. there’re no instructions for programming these dummy buttons. I doubt the device has the capability, hence no instructions.
