Was great

  • Good quality
Color: Grey Size: 17nch
Good looking and good quality wheel covers. I installed these on our 2017 Dodge grand Caravan. We’re currently running our dedicated winter tires on black steel wheels. The winter set works great, but doesn’t look so great when compared to the factory alloy wheels that we run the rest of the year. These wheel covers make a big improvement. They’re made out of a fairly flexible material that feels like they should be very durable, and could take a pretty pretty good whack and not break. They were easy to put on. They have the typical wiring that fits inside plastic retention tabs. One nice feature that I haven’t seen on other wheel covers before, is that the wire ring isn’t a complete hoop. Rather, it’s a ring that has a separation. The two ends come together, and fit into a small plastic adapter that has two different widths, depending on which two holes you put the wire ring into, it makes the hoop bigger or smaller, and changes the tension on the wheel cover retaining system. I thought this was very clever. I first used longer holes, but as I tried to put some force on the wheel covers, the wire ring started to bend. So I stopped, took it apart, and changed to the shorter side of the plastic adapter. This made for a perfect fit. Since there is some variation in steel wheels, even in wheels of the same size, this allows adjustment to accommodate for that. Great idea. These are a fairly flat wheel cover, so they should fit in just about every steel wheel. They function perfectly. I’ve purchased several sets of wheel covers throughout my life, and these are definitely one of the nicer, better sets. They’re good quality, and priced right. Overall, great value. ... show more

  • Nice Visual Upgrade for Stock Wheels
Color: Glossy Black Size: 17nch
The visual effect after installation is much better than I expected. The glossy black finish looks very high-quality, and it instantly makes the otherwise ordinary steel wheels look much more stylish, giving the impression of having "new wheels." From a distance, it really doesn't look like a wheel cover, and it significantly improves the overall appearance. Installation is also very simple; it's a snap-on design that requires no tools, and you can install it yourself in just a few minutes, making it very user-friendly for beginners. After installation, the fit is good, and there are no issues with loosening during normal city driving. The set of four is also good value for money, suitable for car owners who don't want to spend a lot of money on real wheels but still want to improve the appearance of their car. ... show more

  • Once installed the wheels look great again
Color: Glossy Black Size: 16inch
For some reason, the original hubcaps on older cars often go missing one at a time. Replacing just one is manageable, as a single OEM hubcap is not overly expensive. However, losing two or more makes buying individual OEM replacements uneconomical. In such cases, purchasing a full set of four aftermarket hubcaps is actually more affordable. I decided to buy four hubcaps after losing two of the originals. These aftermarket hubcaps have a simpler design than the OEM versions. Each one consists of three parts: a cover, a metal ring, and a connecting ring, which must be assembled by hand. The connecting ring can be set in two positions: large or small. I used the smaller setting because the larger one would not fit inside the cover. Installing the metal ring into the hubcap is the trickiest part—it doesn’t simply drop in. You need to align its notches with the valve stem hole, then carefully press and work the ring under each locking tab. Once you understand the method, assembling the second, third, and fourth hubcaps becomes much easier. The final step is to press the assembled cover onto the wheel. Once secured, the wheels look great again. ... show more

  • Takes some work, fits tightly, forced one too hard, got a tiny crack
Color: Glossy Black Size: 16inch
Only took off a star for instructions. The wires that go inside the hubcap are separate, they come with a rubber stopper type thing, but it really doesn't explain what that is. You can insert the ends of the wire 3 ways, but it only says "small for hubcaps, medium for hubcaps, large for hubcaps", what does that mean? And shouldn't they be sized for the size of hubcap? Which was 15" in my case. I used the small option. The wire then rests on the latch things, so as you go around, one pops back out over here, etc. Not too bad to get it set up, but it will easily fall off. Had to study the picture to figure out where the notch went. My neighbor ended up helping me swap out the hubcaps, I was afraid I would break the old ones taking them off, really have to get in there with a screwdriver or crowbar and pry them all the way around, till they pop off. New ones went on fine, for the neighbor, I kept getting most of the latches on, then pushing the last, popped off the other side. Kind of have to hold it and use your fist to hammer them on, gently, all the way around. Or lightly with a rubber mallet. They do fit very snugly, takes a little work to get them all snapped in. Which means, they better not come off. Now that they are on, boy do they look slick!! I really have to clean and polish my car to go along with my fancy hubcaps! I love the shiny black, matching the tires, so much classier looking than funky factory silver ones! We did crack one, forcing it on too hard in one place. Tiny crack, hardly noticeable, doesn't seem to be effecting the integrity or strength and I don't expect it to go farther. They are plastic after all, just like the factory ones. Make sure you work around the tire, tapping them on and not forcing one spot too much. I don't think it's a flaw in the quality, any plastic will crack if too much force is applied. They seem about the same thickness and durability as the factory caps. Very happy. A little spendy, but they look so cool! ... show more
