Same quality as OEM plates for a fraction of the price. On the smooth plate make sure to use some sort of release agent as filament can literally rip the coating off the plate due to over adhesion but that's just a quirk with smooth pei plates

Using this on my P2S. Have made 10 prints now with this item. Prints stick very well. The release once finished is amazing. I am extremely pleased with this build plate. I will be purchasing more down the road. Highly recommend.

Can't speak to the performance, long term or with larger parts but I'm making multiple runs of these small, 2.5mm thick ASA parts. With their pointy features, over compression of the 1st layer would look like poo. This build plate has a rougher texture than the original that came with my CC1 which I think acts more like a raft making the 1st layer less sensitive while still providing the required adhesion. After cooling and some moderate bending the parts stay barely attached making it east to pluck them off.

I really wanted to like the UniTak3D PEI build plate for the Kobra S1, but after only two months of normal use, it has become completely unusable. The smooth PEI side developed bubbles beneath the surface, creating raised spots that ruin first-layer consistency. These are not minor defects—they make reliable printing impossible. Unfortunately, the textured side isn’t a usable fallback. It is not level with the build plate frame, so it also produces inconsistent first layers. Between the bubbling on one side and the uneven surface on the other, the entire plate is effectively unusable. I’ve gone through normal cleaning and troubleshooting steps, and this is clearly a manufacturing or material failure—not user error. A build plate should last significantly longer than two months, especially under standard printing conditions. This is a core component of the printer, and durability matters. Failing this quickly raises serious concerns about quality control. At this point, I cannot recommend this product. It simply doesn’t meet basic expectations for longevity or reliability.

I used the UniTak3D Kobra S1 PEI Build Plate 264x276mm pretty heavily, and unfortunately it didn’t hold up as well as I hoped. Pros: Works well at first Dual-sided surface is nice in theory Fits properly and installs easily Cons: Wore out after about a month of heavy use Started showing ghosting issues over time Didn’t last as long as other plates I’ve used In use, it performed fine early on, but after consistent printing it degraded quicker than expected. Toward the end, I started noticing ghosting and reduced print quality, which led me to replace it sooner than I would have liked. Overall: It’s decent at first, but durability was a letdown for me. If you print a lot, you may want to consider other options that hold up longer.

This buildplate works better - for me - than the original Snapmaker U1 buildplate. After each use, I either wash with Dawn dish soap, or wipe clean with 91% isopropyl alcohol - and I have not had ANY problems with filament failing to adhere to this buildplate. In fact, there are times when PCTG has stuck so well, I've had to use the textured side instead of the smooth side, in order to get the pieces off without breaking them. It just works - over, and over, and over again. I would definitely buy again. Easy to clean, easy to use, it works VERY VERY WELL.

Only did two prints using PLA, 60 C on bed temp, no glue stick. After second print the entire surface is delaminated and bubbling. Definitely not worth the money at this rate - could be I got a bad one..... but at least from my view point can not recommend. Update: Soooo I forgot to take the protective film off of the smooth side of the plate and that is what bubbled up. DOH! I guess my suggestion to the manufacturer would be to put some LARGE lettering on the film saying to remove it before printing. Just incase somebody else is "special" like me.... lol.
