(Graphite Gray) We are very impressed with this rug so far. It is somewhat reminiscent of a 70s shag, but the pile is a little bit shorter and a little bit more kinky which adds loft to the rug. Each filament is individually twisted, which should aid in the resilience and wear of the rug, which is good. It looks a little bit less natural than and all wool or Flokati rug but the trade-off with care is worth it. We had a more Flokati-like rug previously and it was difficult to care for long-term. With the polypropylene construction, this should also aid dramatically in the durability and clean-ability of the rug. I ordered this along with a rug pad for my bedroom, which has hard vinyl flooring, to function as carpet. I've only had it a few days so I can't comment on durability, stain resistance, etc. But here are my initial thoughts in terms of expectations vs reality. These kinds of online purchases are definitely tricky! The good: the rug is soft and appears to be good quality. It is the exact gray I expected and it goes well with my room. I didn't find any snags or snares on the outer part of the rug. It's a little shaggier than I expected but I actually like it. It arrived really quickly and was easy to unfold and roll out in my room. The annoying: My goal was to have the rug fill the entire room as if it were carpet, to save the expense of removing high quality vinyl flooring and installing carpet. While I don't care about precision or perfection with the fit (have to be realistic when doing this kind of hack), I did expect it to fill the entire room. My room is exactly 8' 11 1/2" by 11' 11 1/2", so I ordered the 9 x 12. I knew carpets aren't always exactly the size advertised, and I could work with it being a little too big or a little too small, but wasn't expecting it to be a lot small. But it is, lengthwise, by about 4 inches. And it's a little big widthwise. Based on the structure of my room, I can hide the short end for the most part, but it's still frustrating - 4 inches is actually a lot and means that the carpet is actually 11' 7 1/2 inches instead of 12 ft. Again, I can deal and this is probably a unique issue of trying to fill a room to the corners, but it's still a bummer. Overall I'm good with it and will make it work. This is the third rug I’ve bought from this company the first one was a burnt terra-cotta orange color purchased about four years ago really the love it very soft … I just purchased two black ones 10x13 and 6x9 they really hard to the touch feels like walking on dried grass.
