This rug looks pretty and is just what I expected from the photos. Colors are nice, black and brown/beige. It did have an odor but 24 hours later I don’t notice it anymore. However it measures only 93 inches so not truly 8x10. It’s pretty thin but I’m planning to use a pad underneath. It doesn’t seem to slide on our LVP fooors but it is also anchored under the couch on one side. I like the colors and pattern in this rug, and it's made very nicely. The burnt orange goes with other colors I have around it. Since I had some gift card money and rewards points, I decided to buy the 6x9 size. There were some folds on the one end that didn't lay flat for about the first month. I put some heavy furniture legs on that end so as I walk on the rug more, it's started to straighten out more. I consider this a nice buy. ... show more

    • Unbearable chemical smell!!

I bought 2 of these (10' x 13' and 8' x 10') for my master bedroom and sitting area after installing hardwood flooring. I opted for the inexpensive rugs since my tiny Yorkie prefers the short trip to the carpet vs using the doggie door at night and it's the reason we changed out carpeting for the hardwood flooring in the first place. Something nice looking AND inexpensive is what I was going for since I expect to break out the steam cleaner every now and again. The rugs and 1/4" rug pads arrived within days of ordering. The 8 x 10 arrived rolled while the 10 x 13 arrived folded. The rugs are a little thin and is one reason I bought the rug pads. The other reason was I wanted rug pad with rubber under it to protect the hardwood flooring in the event my fur baby opted for carpet vs the lawn. I unfolded both the rug pad and 10 x 13 rug and placed them where I would need to move the bed back to. I have a king 4 poster Tuscan bed that has to be taken apart to be moved; it weighs a ton. It was originally moved to the sitting room area so I could paint that bedroom side and we were now ready to move the bed back. There are some wrinkles in the rug due to it being folded for shipping but I figured that would go away over time. Other than that, the rug looks so awesome with the bright red and gold on the Acacia hardwood floor. However, as beautiful as everything looks right now, the overwhelming chemical carpet smell has overshadowed everything else! I've been up since 2:15 am! I've had the sliding door open for 2 days hoping that the smell would go away quicker! Thankfully, it's now in the 60s at night here in Phoenix so it's bearable to sleep with doors and windows open this time of year. You'd think the smell would be lessened with the door open... but NOOOOOOO!!! It's 4:30 am and I'm out on the couch irritated as heck contemplating how to pull the rug out from under that heavy bed! I guess I'll be shopping locally for the rugs. I have one that we bought at Home Depot about 15 years ago and that one is still in excellent shape and better yet, it never smelled! Anything that puts out a smell like this cannot be good to breathe long term. Carpets can have high VOCs and this would be one of them. ... show more

I love this large area rug. This rug looks great in my small living room. It adds flair to my living space. And my cat has had a few accidents on it. Ugh!! However, the mess was easy to clean up! This rug is so nice and works great in this rental apartment with hardwood floors. We now have the hall runners that match also. Packed very well and arrived early than expected. I did put a new felt carpet pad underneath it from Amazon also.
