This is a nice soft rug. It’s is good quality and is very striking. I purchased a non slip mat for underneath although I don’t think it would slip without it. The colors are beautiful and could go with many color schemes. The pattern is very nice also. I ordered the 8 ft and the size is perfect for under my table. The carpet material is nice and thick . I reverse rolled it for over 24 hours and the does not seem to be many creases or issues with curling up. I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend. The burgundy color is a rich, deep, dark red that just makes the ivory color and the floral accents on the rug stand out beautifully! Difficult to flatten the rug, but it is still eye-catching. After placing heavy items on the rug for about 2 weeks straight, the rug finally lay flat, so it is doable. I would buy it again. I only use it in a high traffic area. For the price and quality, it is acceptable to use this in a high-traffic area: It is beautiful but functional and without costing me a lot. Has a moderate chemical odor. Should let it air out outside for a couple of hours to let the chemical odor dissipate.Must use a non-slip pad or it will slide, so make sure to order a non-slip pad at the same time as when you order this.Happy customer. ... show more

This absolutely looks like a real rug. I am an ethnic Persian and I have antique hand-knotted silk rugs in my other rooms that my family brought over during the revolution, but I needed something durable and cheap that could go in my dining room, which is a very high traffic area right by my front door. The layout of my apartment means everyone (utilities guys, the superintendent, contractors, or just party guests who came in very quickly) is going to step on the first rug with their shoes before I can stop them. Plus it's also the dining room and is probably going to get food spills. So I was looking for a cheap synthetic rug that could be abused, but that didn't clash with the rest of the house. This fits the bill beautifully. The medallion pattern and very deep blue (it almost looks black) is so striking, it actually helps *stop* people on their blithe march into my house, and makes them ask "uhhh, should I take off my shoes?" Of course you can feel under your feet that it's a synthetic rug, but it's definitely not bad, especially when combined with a thick rug pad. And it's easy-peasy to clean; I've removed cat puke from it twice already with simple wet cloths, and no stains or marks. (That's also a key strategy with this rug - the cat's food dish is in the kitchen nearby and this is the most likely rug she will puke on.) ... show more

These rugs are quite pretty, but I'm disappointed in the quality. They're very thin and lightweight. They came folded instead of rolled, which created deep wrinkles that, so far, just won't come out. When they were delivered, I thought it was something else because the package was small and weighed less than the mattress pad that was delivered the same day. Today, I padded them and put double-sided tape around the edges. While attempting to pull the backing off the tape, I accidentally pealed the tape off the back of the carpet and it pulled the fibers right out of the rug. Luckily, these are in a bedroom with low traffick. As I said, they're attractive enough...and my husband loves the color (grey). So, I'll keep them. I would not order them again, but if you want an inexpensive rug for a low traffic area, they're okay. Although, for the cost of a pad, you might be able to get something of a little higher quality. I wish I could give a more positive review. ... show more
