The only issue with this bed was the having to unfold and let sit for 2 days before use. We live in a very small home and it was hard to put this somewhere it could expand for 2 days without being int he way , but we managed. The first time my son slept on this mattress he could actually sleep, he had hip surgery this past winter and the mattress we had was old and worn out and he was in pain sleeping on it. He is overjoyed that he no longer has the hip or knee pains he had with his former mattress. I have an all foam full sized bed in my room and his single bed weighed more than my named brand mattress. Now mine is all foam, no springs at all, so perhaps that is the reason, either way, it was a chore to get it into his room at other end of the house for us. Box says have helper and you may need one, after he saw me struggling he bearhugged it and carried into his room. Box was torn open a little but no damage to bag, luckily or else it would have expanded on shipper. So a more durable box would help avoid any issues in transit as this was torn halfway down 1 side and could have easily had that bag snagged, perhaps was reason it took so long to get here, we ordered it before his surgery and it was 2 months after by time it arrived. I just got this and it went in my 2nd guest bedroom. It comes vacuumed seeled. There is an outer wrapping of plastic that you can cut off and then you can unrolled the mattress flat before popping the plastic to let it expand. I would definitely make sure it's in the room you're going to put and lay it in the direction that it's going on the bed. The outer side of it when it's rolled up is the top so you don't have to flip it. When you pop a hole in the vacuumed plastic, it's going to suck in air like a vacuum and the mattress will start expanding immediately. There are no handles on the mattress cover so it's a bear to move it by yourself! It feels pretty nice but I won't be sleeping on it since it's in the 2nd guest bedroom. ... show more

My son needed a new mattress because his old one had been used and abused and it was time for a new one. I already ordered this one and I'm very happy with it so far and I think the comfortability is great as well as the quality is good. It does take a day or two for it to fully form to how it's going to be so I would not recommend sleeping on it or anything like that until you allow it to completely form into it shape. I’ve been looking for a new mattress to replace my old one and I am so happy I came across this one. It is so comfortable to sleep on and I haven’t had any issues with it. Before I use to wake up every night with lower back pain but now I can sleep through the whole night! When it came in it was vacuum sealed so it takes a bit of time for it to actually expand to its size. Once it was done inflating I threw on the cover and sheets and had the best night ever. The mattress arrived rolled up and vacuum sealed. Fortunately I didn't unwrap it until I had it in the bedroom I'm using it in, as it's not easy to move around. It took a couple days for it to expand and form it's permanent shape. Feels great to sleep on!
