Ok here's my take on this kennel. Overall I give it an 8/10. Here's why... PROS: -It looks great! It looks like a piece of furniture rather than an eyesore of a cage. I do wish it came in other colors though. A darker wood would match the rest of my decor much better. But against my faux stone wall it looks pretty ok. -It's safe! When I first got my dog I needed something right away so I got the $40 black metal cage from Walmart. It did the job but my dog has severe separation anxiety and really messed his nose up trying to escape. This kennel has no exposed metal that he can hurt himself on. CONS: -MOST IMPORTANTLY-The latches are crap! It must have been designed with a purse puppy in mind because the flimsy latches and tiny screws that hold them on would rip right out if your dog wanted to. I have a 45lb Pitt mix so I upgraded to heavier duty latches and bolts and doubled up on them (see pics). A set of 4 cost $12 bucks. -Other than that there really aren't any imo. As I mentioned, I wish there were more color selections. A couple points to note: -The cushion is very soft but also very thin. -Be cautious what you hang on the hooks because stuff can be pulled in. -When assembling you can put the panel with the side door on either side. -I gave 3 stars for chew proof because that remains to be seen. If it holds up I will revise later. -I gave 4 stars for assembly. It is in-depth, but easy if you know how to use legos and a screwdriver. If you don't then you probably shouldn't own a dog. -I gave 5 stars for sturdiness because it is. UPDATE: After having this kennel two weeks I still give it a good overall rating. There were a couple of pieces that were chipped out of the box but the company gave me a partial refund without hesitation. Also, the bars in the front gate got bent easily but I believe that to be because of my dogs insanity not the fault of the product. ... show more

So the first issue was the shipping. Quite literally looked like the shipping company ran it over with the truck. Thankfully only one piece was damaged, and it isn’t noticeable once assembled. Assembly was fairly easy. Took me about an hour by myself. My problem is for $300 the quality is not there. Less than two weeks and the edge banding is already coming off. That corner was rough and didn’t feel like it was well glued from the beginning. There are a couple Other spots on the “wood” that are flawed. As for the function… I like the size of the drawer. I have a petite border collie that is happily crate trained and she does very well in this kennel. If you have a dog that doesn’t like it’s kennel or is any larger than about 35lbs, don’t even bother with this. They will chew through it in a matter of minutes. The cushion is fine, but super thin. I will probably use it as a template to get her a better one of appropriate size. It’s made of cheap particle board. Barely a step above cheap Walmart furniture. Overall for $300 I don’t recommend this crate table. But I might use it as a template to build my own. ... show more

Great addition to our houses furniture! However, there was a part missing from the kit. The bottom part of the drawer is missing and therefore unusable. Now it’s just a drawer “for looks.”
