This dress is amazing! I have worn it three times since ordering last week. The fabric is soft and feels cotton-like—not like slippery, cheap polyester that I sometimes get fooled buy when ordering online. The tie sits perfectly so that when tied it cinches at my most flattering point—I would call it an empire wait, between my natural waistline and bra line. It is not see-thru at all. Fits like it was made for me which is amazing because I have been burned by incorrect sizing so often in the past. I weigh 198 lbs. 15 inch upper arm circumference (rather large, but the cut of the sleeves is super-flattering and there is plenty of room—but no peekaboo armpit bra showing either!). 43 inch bust. 39 inch waist. 48 hips. My ONLY complaint is that I wish the material was just a TAD thicker to hide pantylines a bit better; although, I asked my husband and sister who both told me they were barely visible and that this concern was a “me” thing. 🤣 I am ordering a second dress in olive green today! Which is what made me come write a review. I don’t usually do so. I will attach pics once that one arrives. My black one is in the washer as I type. 🥰

My measurements for reference: 5’6”, 140lbs, 36C, tops: S, bottoms: S/4-6, dresses: S I love everything about this dress. I bought it once before, before I lost weight. At that time I weighed 170lbs and wore this dress in a L. After I lost weight, this is one of the very first items I bought. This dress is so comfortable. The fabric is soft and breathable. There is a good amount of stretch to the fabric which makes it really easy to move in. The pockets are deep and the “belt” is sewn on at the hips. The placement of the belt is great, too. The bow does a nice job of hiding your tummy. I really like the length of the dress as well. It’s perfect for the office. I’m wearing a slimmer slip to smooth out my lumps and bumps, but a slip in general is not needed. You cannot see through the dress. I washed on cold and dried on low heat and didn’t notice any shrinkage. It’s also easy to iron and doesn’t wrinkle throughout the day. Fit is TTS. I hope you find this helpful!

I ordered a L and it was slightly small-big booty probs. There isn't much stretch and not see through. Good weighted material. Now I have an XL an it slightly large. Good thing being I can take it up in the waist and still has room not to interfere with the ties or pockets. Or I'll just remove them. because. that will look good too. It comes a couple inches above my knees. I am 5'8", 200 lbs, 45-37-47.

This dress is SUPER comfortable! Nice cotton material and soft. I am 5’5’ ,145 pounds and this is a medium. It’s still a little roomy so I maybe would have gotten away with a small, but not in the hip area. But the tie allows you to bring the dress in still. It’s a win in my book.

Love the weight of the fabric. It is a little thicker material and the belt is attached and wider than most belts you get with similar dresses. The wider belt and fabric give the dress a more expensive look.
