Phenomenal, would buy again and recommend. I use them for all manner of snow activities. Better than last pair and half the price of big stores. Velcro front is super strong and includes an added Velcro latch to prevent them from pulling apart at the toe (super upgrade over my last pair). The material is tough I'm very happy with them. With these I can do any snow activity with just my hiking boots and no need for snow pants.

These gaiters seem to be well made with durable materials, but I had to return them because I couldn't close the front-closing velcro strips. Sizing instructions say to measure just below the knee, which doesn't reflect calf measurements where legs are considerably wider. I'm a small-to-average sized 78 yr old woman but size S was waaay too small. Recommend ordering at least one size up. Thankfully returning them was easy.

Your size will be determined by both Calf Circumference and Shoe Size. For the boots the goal is to have a tight wrap around them so that snow can not accumulate between the gaiter and boot. The pictures show how Gaiters Size L (which is the recommended size for Shoe Size 9) was too big for both our boots. For the calf you are aiming to create light pressure under the top of the calf when the gaiters are strapped. This is to prevent the gaiters from sliding down and snow getting in. You can use us as reference: Wife Gaiters size S fits both her boots and her calf. Calf Circumference: 14 inch Boot Size: 9 (Woman's) Myself Gaiters size M works good for my boots but there is still plenty of space on the calf. See video for reference on how much I have to tighten the strap on the calf. Calf Circumference: 15 inch Boot Size: 9 (Men's) I am giving this product 5 stars because it is great value for the money and they are comparable to Outdoor Research Crocodile GORE-TEX Gaiters ($90). We use them for heavy mountaineering, so far we haven't been able to puncture them with the crampons. Breathability is not phenomenal, so no the best for warm weather but on cold weather they stay dry in deep snow. I tried hard to find anything significant to complain about but was not able to find something.

I 'settled' on these budget gaiters because I needed a pair for a hike on short notice. my decision was based only on the fast projected delivery date. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but anything was better than nothing with a lot of fresh snow on the ground. I wish all my purchases were this much of a pleasant surprise! Quality definitely exceeded expectations.

These are very well-made, however, I followed the sizing guide and they did not fit. The Velcro is wide, so I’m guessing if it meets even barely on the edge they consider that fitting. They appear to be very well-made, good quality. I would have ordered them in a larger size, but missed the return deadline

I really like this leg gaiters. They are easy to use, fit great, and are durable. I walk my dogs through some pretty deep snow and these are perfect for me. They are so good that I bought a second pair, so I could leave them attached to a pair of trail runners as well as a pair of hiking boots. They also work well even if I also have micro-spikes on my boots because the strap on the gaiters can go either on top or under the spikes.

As soon as I got these in the mail, I had to give them a try. We’ve gotten about 2 1/2 feet of snow and my dog really needed a walk so I put these on and off we went. I intentionally walked through deeper snow, about 3/4 up my shin. Not one bit of snow got in, and anywhere that these covered was toasty warm at the end. The fabric is thick and seems really tough, the Velcro is really strong, I also like how they have overlapping Velcro flaps at the bottom to ensure that it stays sealed. The hook stayed on my bootlace for the whole walk and the top strap kept the gaiters in place. Highly recommended!
