I have always used non clamp meters in the past and normally the more expensive brands. Never going back, clamp meters are better for the easy amp readings and no need to spend 5 to 10x more. This product is top quality at an incredible price.

This is going to be a common theme in most reviews. This will do exactly what it says it will do. If you are like myself you have already watched a couple on the device. It is accurate and does what it says it will. Like others have pointed out it isn't the most rugged meter. For the home gamer or junior engineer this is going to be fine. I would be worried about putting many hours on this device. If you are not putting hours on this day and day out it should be just fine. I wish I could get a Fluke with this many features at this price point, but that isn't going to happen in this reality. ... show more

Clamp meter worked great for diagnosing boiler zone valves (24 AC milliamp measurement), thermocouple probe works great as well. Overall seems like a lot of functionality is packed into a small meter. Very happy so far.

It's a full featured multimeter. Large number display is a great help. Leads are good enough. Not very quick to show a stable reading. Buzzer is not loud. It's not audible in an industrial environment. Very good product for the value. Ample jaw opening.
