Just opened this for Christmas last night. Used until empty battery alarm. Charged it. Used this morning for maybe 20 minutes and one of the wheels locked up. This is the second one I have bought for my kid that this has happened to. I figured I'd give this a try since is said it was an updated version. What happens is the control boat has some sort of malfunction and applies full power to the 3 phases of the motor. The rotor locks and starts getting very hot. There is no way to turn the unit off. Normally you can press the power button to turn on and off. When this malfunction happens it does not work. Even holding it down will not over ride and turn off. You have to remove the bottom covers and unplug the board to board connector to reselt the microcontroller. This is a major design flaw and should have been fixed on these later revisions. I can't be the only one this has happened to. Amazon should not be selling these until this issue is proven to be fixed. This could cause a fire and or a battery explosion. If this issue was resovled it would be a great product but for a product that coukd potentially burning your house down is should get less than a 1-star.

I purchased this hoverboard on Amazon for my daughter's birthday, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's a nice color. The blue-tooth functionality works seamlessly, allowing her to play her favorite tunes while cruising around. And LED lights are eye-catching. The self-balancing feature is top-notch, making it easy for my daughter to ride. One of the best features is the auto-calibration upon startup, ensuring a smooth and safe ride every time. The battery life on this hoverboard is good, providing hours of continuous fun for my daughter without needing frequent recharges. Above all, safety is paramount, and this hoverboard meets all expectations in that regard. I highly recommend this hoverboard for its quality. It has made my daughter's birthday special!

My 8 year old son absolutely loves this. Learned how to ride it within a couple hours of having it. Bluetooth speaker is really clear and loud. & It goes really fast. The only downfall I've found with this particular hoverboard is, the battery dies EXTREMELY FAST!!! I thought that I read before purchasing, that battery life lasts atleast 15 hours. I did however purchase a total of 6 boards. One of these in white, then others. This one dies the absolute quickest. Even if it's at it's fullest charged capacity.
