I just installed these last night, so I can’t speak to their longevity yet, but they’re perfect for what I wanted them for. I wanted under-cabinet lighting but, due to the walls between cabinets sticking down, rope lights weren’t going to work. Plus I didn’t need multi-colors or flashing lights; it’s a kitchen, not a disco. I didn’t think I would use the motion detector function, but that turned out to be really convenient, easier than finding the small on button by touch. Due to the bottom lip of the cabinets you have to be right up on them before they sense you, but that’s an issue with the cabinets, not the lights. ... show more

These are great under cabinet lights or anywhere you need. I love that you apply the magnetic strip wherever you need and can put the light there, which is easily removable. Also if the place you're putting the light is a magnetic material already the lights will stick without the included strips. My only issue is that after any prolonged usage the charge is none existent. I'm talking a few hours of use and they need to be recharged. I'll probably look for lights that last longer, tbh. ... show more

I purchased nine of these lights. Five of them are now under-counter. Four of them are inside dark cabinets. The cabinet lights need recharging about once a month. The under cabinet lights need recharging about every ten days. They are in a high traffic area, so they are on and off more frequently. Initial mounting is a very easy one-time procedure.
