I was once called out to give an estimate for a small job at the home of an elderly, retired woman who lived alone. Her kitchen was tiny, but for some reason the light switch had been installed on the opposite side of the room from the entrance. Fast forward a few months, I was browsing Amazon and came across these rechargeable under-cabinet light bars. A 3-pack, surprisingly bright, fully dimmable, and with selectable color temperatures: Warm White (2700K), Natural White (4000K), Daylight / Bright White (6000K). And the best part? They're rechargeable... No wiring required! Immediately, I thought of the lady I had met several months back. The electrical portion of the original quote was the bulk of the cost, easily $350–$400. Without even calling her first, I ordered the lights with next-day delivery. The following day, I called her, reminded her who I was, and told her I had a solution that would cost no more than $100 total. She agreed, and we scheduled an appointment that afternoon. By the time I arrived, the lights had already been delivered. She was a bit surprised seeing as we had just spoken a few hours prior. Installation took less than 15 minutes, including walking her through how to recharge them. She was absolutely thrilled, so much so that she gave me a big hug. I charged her $50. Before I left, she handed me a sealed envelope. I never count money in front of a client, so I tucked it away and went home. When I opened it later, I was shocked — she had paid me $200 for a 15-minute job. Since then, she’s referred two additional clients, both of which turned into fairly large projects. All of that from a simple set of lights. These bars provide plenty of usable light, are easy to adjust to the perfect brightness and color temperature, and the rechargeable, no-wiring design makes them ideal for seniors, renters, or anyone who wants a clean, fast solution without calling an electrician. I loved these lights for under the cabinet. They are very easy to install, do not weigh anything and adhere well. The best thing is that they have three shades of light (warm, natural and white) and also allow you to adjust the intensity to 50%, 75% and 100%, so you can create the environment you want depending on what you are doing. The lighting is strong, even and makes the kitchen look much more modern. They also work perfectly for dark spaces such as closets or small hallways. I recently bought these lights and I'm very happy with them. They're easy to install thanks to the magnets and they provide plenty of light. I really liked that they have a motion sensor; they turn on automatically when I walk by. They also have three different light settings, creating a comfortable ambiance. These lights take literally seconds to install, I purchased the shorter ones but the work great, the different color temperature lighting is nice too you can change it depending on your preference. They are super responsive too. The magnetic attachment made it super convenient to pop off to recharge. It doesn't take that long to recharge them which is nice. The only draw back is battery life. I had installed mine and by the next day I had to recharge a couple of them that were in the higher traffic areas.
