I didn't buy this so my daughter could unbuckle herself, I bought this to save my acrylic nails. And it's been amazing, every time I would try to unbuckle my daughter before I would either hurt myself or break a nail. (And even when I don't have my nails done sometimes it was hard to push that button) That may sound crazy but if you've even gotten acrylic nails before you know how much that hurts! But this thing has been a life-saver. I think my 3 year old may love using it when she figures out what it's for. But it basically locks into place because it fits snuggly over the buckle (I have a Grace 4-in-1) and then you just push and bam, so easy. 100% worth the money if you have the same issues I do.. but I think it would help a little kid too because it makes pushing that button so much easier! ... show more

Super easy for my small 4 year old to use to get out of her seat in the 3rd row for preschool drop off. Prior to this having to park to unbuckle her was a pain but she’s able to easily use the tool. She’s not very strong either so we had our doubts about it but she doesn’t have an issue.

My daughter told me about this product, but I didn't take the time to actually order it until I saw the UnbuckleMe's Shark Tank episode. The co-creator, the grandmother, has arthritis in her hand, like me, and co-created this product to help her unbuckle her granddaughter's car seat. I have such a hard time doing that, too. I have tendinitis on both hands, and it was difficult to unbuckle my toddler from his car seat. This product makes it so easy to get him out. Requires minimal pressure. I think it might also be great for people with arthritis.

    • Works well, but can be a bit of a pain to get under belt buckle

It’s great and I’m using it (when I wear long press-on nails). My only complaint is that it’s a bit big and stiff to slide easily under the buckle, especially if you like your kid snug in their seat. But overall, a great product that protects your manicure. Moms want pretty nails too.
