Taking a family vacation to the beach (but not being able to stay RIGHT on the beach...just a few houses up) I thought it would be nice to be able to see out to the ocean. I've got a pair of binoculars, but with three kids fighting over them, I figured I'd pick up another set but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. This monocular was perfect. It's super easy to hold and focus, the image is sharp and clear. It even comes with a tripod and mounting plate to take phone pics. I was able to spot birds flying over the ocean (from that distance...see my pics!) and we even spotted a whale blowing several times. It was a great experience. Great memories, easy to use and a great price. I even ended up using the monocular more than my binoculars because it was just quicker and easier to use/focus.

The media could not be loaded. Buying this Monocular for my dad was probably one of the best decisions I've made recently. Our family canoe trip just got upgraded with this beast of a monocular! We were out on the river cruising my dad was doing nothing but scanning the banks with his new toy, spotting wildlife like never before. He was practically glued to it, and the grin on his face said it all. The 12x magnification was perfect for distance watching which is just what you need when you're in a canoe in the middle of the river. The quality feels so sturdy and well-made. Definitely not a piece of cheap plastic. It's got just the right amount of heft to it, not too heavy that you'd get tired holding it, but heavy enough to feel like this thing means business. The rubber armor is a neat touch too. It makes it quite comfy to grip. My dad was particularly impressed with how easy it is to focus. Some binoculars he’s played with before have been a bit of a nightmare, getting everything just right. But with this? Very very simple. The BAK-4 prism and premium FMC (Fully Multi-Coating) lens do their job brilliantly, offering clear and bright images. Even at dusk, it performed beautifully. The smartphone holder was a great addition as well. My Dad’s final verdict is that he’s loving it! So I’d say this is money well spent.

I didn't have high expectations for this, given the low price; but it really delivers. I have poor vision in one eye, and a monocular works better for me. This also can be used with your phone's camera, though I have not tried this yet. It is handy to carry on hikes (much lighter than binoculars), and lets me identify birds or other things I see at a distance. And I work with at-home care of babies and toddlers, and in some places cannot see house numbers without this monocular. It is also great to read the parking signs down the block without having to get out of my car, or give up a hard found parking place to go see what the parking sign says. Certainly worth the price!

We live across the street from a golf course and there are all sorts of interesting wildlife out there. My binoculars are pretty darn good for sighting in, however, they require both hands to scan and hold. With this price I couldn't pass up the chance to try this Monocular Scope. The focused image is every bit as exact as the binoculars that I have been using. I was surprised by the assortment of accessories that were included in this purchase: an attachment for use with a cell phone camera, cleaning cloth, lens caps and a nifty telescoping tripod. Our local casino is opening their horse track soon and I am sure that I will be using this monocular much more often. The quality and use of this product is far better than I expected.

Myself and kids are in stargazing. We use binaculars and a phone setup to take pictures of galaxies. A problem we always had was once everything was setup, we had a hard time locating stars aside from the one we were setup for. This is a great handy little monoscope. It is lightweight but built quality is amazing for the price. We now have an external monoscope to locate additional stars then setup our telescope to view it closer. The magnification of this monoscope is good enough to see Saturn rings, the moon and best part, you can use the attachment to take pictures. Great setup for a very low price. Love it!

I bought this because of it's cheap price as I'm using it while ATVing, so it gets a lot of abuse and will be broken no matter what within a short time. But it has a clear view and is as good as the old one which was 5 times more expensive. So, good to go!

I bought this inexpensive monocular for sightseeing wildlife on a trip, and it works excellent for being so inexpensive. It even included a little metal tripod and phone attachment to get the coolest photos with your phone connected to it. I'd definitely buy again. Feels sturdy, with solid materials and lens covers. Nothing feels like cheap plastic. Feels like professional feeling rubber and other fine materials. Can't go wrong with buying this little handy monocular!
