I love the look of this stool and it has been sturdy for large adults to sit on as well! The only downside is you may need to put some rubber dots on the bottom if you have wood floors, because there is a thin circular rim / edge around the bottom, where the bottom of the container ends about an inch higher than the rim. Because it's such a thin rim, it could cause marks or an impression on your wood floor. I wish they had made the bottom of this a solid circle, instead of extending that edge. It works well. I am using it as toy storage and the top is quite heavy. So, it is really concerning when my little one tries to take the top off. However, it looks good and I can hide the toys! This piece is modern and sleek. It holds a great amount of storage. We especially love it bc we use it to store our electric blanket and we can easily put the wires through the holes so that the wires could be well hidden. Its light to pick up but sturdy. I just love it!

My husband had bought some of those little cubes that are fabric covered cardboard to hold toys for when our grandson visits. They fell apart in months. These are STRONG. And PRETTY. And SPACE EFFICIENT. They also work nicely as extra seating and tabletop.
